Some shocking news yes?
Look at it this way, SONY,IBM and Toshiba is now developing the CELL. IBM also builts the Gekko processor for the Gamecube.
Now, IBM is going to sleep with MS to produce the CPU for the next XBOX!!!
I mean , they have the core technology with EVERY console out there!!! I won\'t be suprised if one day that all consoles CPUs will come only from IBM!!!
I wonder if SONY is screaming foul play now...after all, IBM could have easily take what they\'d r&d from the Cell and modify it a bit and build a new CPU for the XBOX2!!!
Check out the news below:

IBM is now IGM => International Gaming Machine!!!

Is it possible to upgrade your PS2\'s system? Like add more RAM or something?
Someone told me their brother replaced XBOX\'s hdd with a 100 GB one, and they can literally burn games onto it.

Too bad Sony owns that patent on Cell.. :(

I say IBM should give the finger to everyone and build their own console.

I think it would be a good idea, but Im not sure if they have the money to actually start one- but I could be wrong.
But if IBM did do that, Sony, MS, & Nintendo would be down the drain.

Xbox can have lots of different mods from what I have heard. There is this company advertising in the local paper that they can upgrade to 80gig hard drive which actually saves entire games to the hard drive (I don\'t understand how it works) and they have a different HUD menu system as well.

I think you put the full DVD on the Harddrive and then load the game from the harddrive as if it were on a DVD disc.
Um, like on the PC. Download a ISO, use Daemon tools to open the game from the harddrive (fake a CD/DVD rom) then install. :)
On the Xbox you have a new HUD (like you said) with all your "installed/downloaded" games in a list, just choose one game on the list and it boots.
Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Maybe they will....revenge for IBM...after all, MS pull the rug out from under their feet when they killed IBM OS/2 & Warp....
Big Blue is planning a long plan for revenge!!!
It\'s payback time!!!
