Title: These ads are getting annoying

Ok, so I log onto AIM and this sound ad comes on. I can\'t shut the sound off or anything. Next thing I know, AIM has crashed and I have to log back on. Is there a way to get rid of these ads?

I use AIM 4.8  I hate the 5.x version.  No Ad\'s, and it works just as well :)

You might also consider using Miranda.  I have it, and it runs AIM, MSN, and ICQ (and more) all at the same time with no problem.  No fancy GUI or interface, but simple, clean code.  No adds, either ;)

Ok, I have another problem. The sounds on my AIM don\'t work. I hate technology. Always works against me.

Believe me spudz, I\'m working on #2 ;) As for #1, AIM is working alright. One of my friends told me to get rid of this one bit of info on aim but can\'t find it. I\'ll get it from him and post what to do here incase someone has the same problem.
