who here has finished the entire game? (100% progress)
I know I have! (otherwise I wouldn\'t be posting this :D )
-
I\'m going round again at the moment, 64% complete.
-
About 88% complete. I seem to spend most of my time now tweaking my vast collection of cars and testing them.

There\'s about 120 in my garage at the moment, I haven\'t set up and driven quite a few of them!

The endurance races are too daunting.
Who could be bothered...

I have a lot of time on my hands at weekends! Plus it teaches you the art of eating, drinking and smoking while you drive.

Hehe, they are just too boring. I love the racing side of it but real endurance races aren\'t like the ones in GT3.
I want real time, time, real time weather effects and damage! GT4 here I come.
-
You can make them more interesting by going out in a car with half the horsepower of the opposition, that\'s a good fight for a couple of hours.
I just wish I could get any set of tires to last longer than 15 laps, the tedious bit about endurance racing is stopping for new ones constantly.
-
Pfft..
I don\'t see how anyone can claim that racing the endurance races in a fully done up Suzuki Pikes Peak could be boring, no matter how much you beat the competition by..

But that is half the fun. The endurance races should be so realistic and so enthralling that your actually interested in pitting and re-fueling, getting new bumpers etc.
For being the \'Real Driving Simulator\' they still have along way to go yet. I am hoping that GT4 includes a much more immersive driving/racing experience. A 100 lap rally race around the Grand Canyon would\'nt be nearly as boring if every lap was different. Like, I dunno, I am being picky, but stuff like rolling clouds, the sun shining bright one lap and then being stuck behind a thick puffy cloud the next, with the graphics reflecting that. Purely random events that make the experience more interesting. 38 laps into the race and it starts to rain, and the course turns to mud. Then at lap 50 it stops, and through the remainder of the race the course starts to dry out, and then around lap 89 the sun starts to go down.
Thats what I am talking about. I know they have limitations, but if they stopped creating 6 different Lancers and 4 different Civics and for the game, and more so concentrated on gameplay interactivity with the tracks, the game would be so much more enjoyable.

Just pause the game racer... shit

93% or so.

Suckers. Gameshark Gamesaver gets you 100% plus all hidden cars in all colors + $10 trillion.

I agree, we\'ve reached a level in gaming where the graphics are so good that the small touches will now make a world of difference. Little things that you may not notice, you just enjoy the game more.
Damage is the holy grail though, maybe next gen when they can simulate each cars crumple zones etc, it\'d be a great way for manufacturers to show off their safety features as well as their driveability.

I got to 97% before selling my last ps2 with the memory card.. no more GT3 for me.. i was getting tired of it by that
time. My attention is on GT4 now.. i\'m hoping that they have slimmed down on the endurance races , i found them
rather boring some times.. the best bit of GT3 was the F1 races.. they were quite competitive.
-
yeah, too bad they forgot to put an option iin it, where you could change your oil during a tournament.....because the first races were too easy and the last races sucked.....
-
I hope GT4 gives an option to change the speedo to MPH. I hated having the speedo in KPH in GT3.
-
im about 80 something. maybe 86. I just cant fathom getting all golds on all the licenses (S!). All the endurances i think were fun except the damn rodster one. God, was that terrible.
The lamest race that i actually enjoy is the vitz championship in professional. I have a pink one but the way i tuned it and just the way i can handle it makes it challenging but hard.
Meh...

you don\'t need gold on all licenses to get to 100% ;)
