Title: "A Dingo took ma baby!" Question for you Aussies.

I saw the movie, A Cry in the Dark and it showed that during the trial, random groups of people arguing over the innocense of Mrs. Chamberlain. The arguments would get so bad that they would yell and scream at each other and actually get into fights! Is that just a movie stunt or did people really get personal with this trial?

The impression I got was that most people thought she killed the baby and blamed it on the dingo\'s. :iono:

Maybe she didn\'t want it,couldn\'t afford it.Only she would know,but you must of heard of people killing and dumping their babies before.Maybe she\'s just F@#cked in the head.It\'s a crazy world we live in??

Thats the mainland people dwellers. Does not include Aussies over seas who still have citizenship (apparently).

On topic though, from what I remeber, there was alot of out cry from the general public on both sides, people arguing for her, and against people. Some people thought someone could never do something so sinister, and others thought the premise of a dingo stealing a baby and eating it from a tent to be totally ridiculous.

I dunno, it was before DNA so it will just be one of those things we will probably never know.

They found the baby\'s clothes in a Dingo den about 4 years after Mrs. Chamberlain was jailed. On that evidence alone, they released her.
