would you save it, and mankind would continue to rule the earth - BUT you end up dying the most painful death, and no one knows of your deeds to save them all. You are an unknown hero.
-
And if you don\'t save them everyone dies?
-
Yes.
Remember though, at this time babies are taking their first steps. Children are walking to school, mothers waving them good bye. Innocence...
-
Yeah, I couldn\'t live the rest of my life with that sort of guilt
-
but you\'d be dead either way
-
A lot like one of your other dumb threads...that was closed.
-
I\'d rather die an unsung hero than die a no body.
EDIT: Who voted 200 times?

I think Titan pretty much summed it all up. Cheers to you Titan!
-
You die either way so why not save everyone else?
Its a lose-lose situation. Regardless of what you do you die a nobody.
-
Lemme rephrase;
if you let everyone else die you will live on, being the only human on earth.
-
No question I\'d die. I\'d die for much less extreme things than that.
-
I vote that you\'re an idiot.
-
I think if anyone says they wouldn\'t die, they\'re a pretty selfish person. I\'d do it just for my family, even though my deeds would go unrecognized it would be made up for in my next life (or if you believe in heaven, you\'d deffinetly be going there)
-
Mark me up selfish.
I don\'t believe in heaven or hell.
I don\'t believe there is any purpose of being an unsung hero.
I wouldn\'t do it. Even if you do it - most likely the human race would kill themselves off soon afterwards.
-
"I don\'t believe in heaven or hell."
What about hellven?

I do believe in that!

"the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" . That\'s a quote from one of the star trek films. I\'m not a trekker though but that statement says it all.

I\'m an unkown superhero. But I hate pain. I\'ll be just be a hero and not take the pain.

That was part of Mr Spock\'s death speech in Star Trek II The Wrath of Kahn. Right before he died of a severe case of acne ;)

let\'s just hope that mankinds future doesn\'t rely on Kopking in a spelling bee.

If mankind depended on it, would kopking use his period?

And it\'s originally from Machiavelli\'s "The Prince". But I guess more people learned it from star trek.
