Title: Who\'s Getting Tokyo Extreme Racer 3?!
Post by: Lord Nicon on November 24, 2003, 06:56:32 PM: This may be old news to some of us but i for one intend to check out the new TER. Too bad its not online:(. Id go as far as to say that it would be one of the best racers if it had a massive online battle network where there were no bots just all human players. Anyway, here are a few pics i dug up.

This looks good, but I don\'t know. It seems more of the same from the last two games except it now had weather effects...

Are all races still at night or is there now finally some day tracks?

Post by: Lord Nicon on November 25, 2003, 01:45:08 PM: Well this one remains very similar in most aspects but i think its a new map, but im not 100% sure. Theres the addition of american cars and I guess there is a slightly higher level of customization. I also hear that you can now custom paint your car to the last pixel (literally).

Im kinda hoping that the handling is tweaked just a bit and maybe the ai but in Zero the variety was great anyway. I wonder how many cars in total there are.

Well this one has been kept pretty low key for most of its development. I didnt find out till about a couple of weeks ago. When i was searching for more shots all i could find were the screens that were posted on crave\'s web site. If i do find more ill post them but im guessing the chances are slim.

Post by: Zolar on November 29, 2003, 06:40:43 PM: I have TXR 2 on the Dreamcast, it was an excellent game from start to finish. I may pick up TXR3. Those screen shots look excellent. The Dreamcast version was preety darn good. I\'m glad their continuing the series. I didn\'t pick up zero cause it was esentially TXR2 for Dreamcast. Another racer to get!
