The press conference will be tonight at 9:00 EST on ESPN News!

Pedro, Schilling, Lowe, Wakefield, and Kim.. probably the best rotation in baseball for 2004.
The only competition would be Oakland, but since they traded Ted Lilly I\'m not sure about their no.4 spot.
-
Ok, so the Sox got pitching. They got hitting. Their bullpen emerged, plus Keith Foulke is a possibility. I\'m seeing one of the best overall teams in baseball, all for about 80 million less than the Yankees.
-
Yeah, but unfortunately it isn\'t going to be that cheap in 2005. Remember that David Ortiz and Bill Mueller are getting next to diddly for their MVP-level services.. and that won\'t last. It\'ll still be a cheaper team, though.

Well, it\'s either Kim or Arroyo and Kim has proven he can produce many quality starts.
-
Kim is not a starter. He is a closer who folds under the slightest bit of pressure. Screw him.
I\'m praying that the Sox can some how persuade Foulke to make the cross country trip to the Bean.
-
I WAS SOOOOOO GLAD WHEN WE GOT RID OF KIM... But Schilling come on people!! what the hell are we doing here we win a series and the thing comes a part....
-
AFAICS, Kim was doing great as a starter in Arizona. 3.50 ERA (over 5-10 starts) low BAA. (.214)

Funny I always rember him to being a closer here in AZ
-
Yeah, but he\'s always wanted to be a starter and the D\'Backs gave him his chance earlier this year, right?
He had a good ERA and a great BAA but went like 1-5 due to low run support.
Edit: See? (http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/bos/stats/bos_individual_stats_player.jsp?playerID=218294) He started 7 games for Arizona before being traded.
