Others I listen to significantly less frequently and don\'t deserve a line of their own: Bob Dylan, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Alice In Chains, The Who, John/Paul solo material, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Rage Against The Machine, and others.
Tell me I have bad taste in music and I will slap you. They\'re all pretty mainstream I must admit, but just because they\'re popular doesn\'t mean they suck. Just because PS2 is a pos doesn\'t mean popularity=junk. ;)

I never thought less of anyone with inferior taste in music. The way they defend their crappy pos band like Spudz did, however, is purely idiotic. Does that mean Spudz is an idiot for liking bad music? No. Some people like the taste of crap. Not everyone likes the same food and it only makes sense that it is the same case with music.
Talent does not=opinion. Someone may think Korn is talented, but that doesn\'t nessacarily mean it is a reality. Korn sucks, mediocre, terrible, could crap in a flute and blow it and it would sound better, fact. Nirvana and all the bands I listed>>>>>Korn. Not just my opinion, musically, they all exceed Korn by a large proportion.

I play just about everything but country and songs that are a lot of picking.
My favorite bands to play to are Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, STP, Nirvana and Pearl Jam. I\'m getting a lot better and since I got this guitar I enjoy playing more really (I used to play on a Fender Bullet). Now I just need a new amp and put more songs in my binder.
What kind of guitar do you have?

You all have bad taste in music, GET OVER IT!! No not really, but this could be a never-ending battle with no logical conclusions. People listen to whatever they listen to for whatever reason because it\'s just what they like listening to. My brother\'s friend has over 400 CDs...and they all suck horrible, hardcore ass, but he seems to really enjoy them, so I\'m happy for his amazingly crappy collection. It\'s nobody\'s right to judge you on your music, or to say your music sucks, and some people are just assholes, like me...I purposely bash people for their crappy music, which totally defeats the purpose of this entire thread, making myself an ignorant, asshole hypocrite...:p

Have you heard all Korn\'s CD\'s?
If you get a chance listen to the self titled cd and maybe you\'ll like it.Granted they don\'t have a huge list of great songs but there is no way you can say they have no talent.
Talent to me is being able to make a good song,not really being able to play drums faster than anyone or sickest solo\'s.Just being able to do a good song overall.

I have never listened to Modest Mouse, although several people have suggested them to me, I just never had the time to listen to them.
The emo I am talking about is these soaped up "hunks" strumming their guitar and talking about their girlfriend and that lame shit. Its pathetic, and Dashboard Confessional always has sucked.

They have been around for quite awhile, like, many years, and they used to be pretty good. They changed quite a bit to cash in on the whole emo phase the kids went through a year or so ago.

There is something to be said for artists who gain popularity by the audience and critics. That is when you are succesful and most likely talented. That is when something is clicking for the artist / band.
