Im not sure if anyones plays it but the people at americasarmy.com wont answer. Does anyone know how the hell to pass the second special forces training where u have to crawl through the whole thing? I can get objective A and B fine but C is f-in impossible. Its driving me insane.
-
I gave up after a few attempts..
I got to checkpoint A, but they guy in the lookout tower always spotted me.
Guess Im not cut out for the SF. :p
I don’t know why the hell you have to pass that course, its not like you\'ll be crawling around in any of the multiplayer maps.. and the same goes for the useless medic training.

http://www.gamefaqs.com ?

i figured it out after a nice 2 hours, lol. After u get to the bridge from point B to C, then u go in the ravine and to the right theres a rock, then u have to shimmy ur way up the hill between a bush and a rock. The way the screen shakes makes it seem like thats not really the way to go, but any other way you get caught.
To get from A to B you do the same, kinda. You go down the right of the ravine and head right up a hill on the other side, then just go whatever way u have to.

im confused
is this game free?
it seems shady that the government would make you pay to watch a glorified comercial for the army
-
Absolutely free.
Excellent game for the money. Probably one of(if not) THE best squad based games available.
-
I must be missing a path, I always get seen by the tower at point A.
Also. How the hell do you get 36 out of 40 targets to get adv. marksmanship? Seriously, I\'m a very good shot, even with just the iron-sights, but the fact is, at the furthest distance, you can see that the slight amount of "error" the game puts into the shots means you hit like 6 out of 7 shots. I\'ve gotten 34 with no misses, but I just don\'t see getting 36. Even just using the mouse to aim, keyboard to shoot to make sure there is no jitter, you miss some of the far ones (even though you had it aimed right).
*EDIT* Nevermind. Got the sharpshooter part. Wasn\'t paying enough attention to breathing.

*BUMP*
Hate to do that, but nobody will see this otherwise.
Still can\'t pass that SF mission. They\'re not allowed to talk bout it on the AA forums anymore, but if anyone can give me a hint... specific hint, that is. I\'ve spent forever crawling around in the dark, but I just can\'t find a way past the checkpoints. It\'s kinda driving me nuts now, cause I must have spent like 20 hours, and it\'s just killing me to fail after 20-25 min of silent slow crawling.

which one? the first one is easy, the second one u go down the right side of the bridge and then to the right in the ravine then left up the hill, then fallow the compass from there. The third one you go straight (the other way is left and is impossible so dont try), then u go down the right side of the ravine again. Go almost all the way to the right and ull see a big rock, and u have to shimmy ur way inbetween the rock and the ground. The screen will vibrate like crazy but just keep going foreward and u should pass over it. Then go right to the truck.

How many people still play this game?
-
There\'s too many out now for me to get back into it. maybe in the future.
-
i dont play it, but mainly because it goes choppy like crazy so i might play it after i get my radeon9600. Then again i have raven shield and battlefield to play so i dont really need it. BTW, if u have battlefield, definitly get desert combat. best mod a game has ever had but i cant fly the damn planes.
-
I thought BT1942 was the laggiest POS I ever played. Could barely move.
-
yea, its pretty demanding of ur cpu. But if u have the right stuff its one of the best games. If you like FPS\'s and beign able to do anything on the map from flying planes to driving submarines. The part i dont like about it is that there is only one gameplay (capture the flag) and that can get old after a while. I like killing people, but i get paranoid about the bases.
