Title: playstation asking for format disk.

I recently purchased a new playstation 2 in November and today when I tried to load a game I was sent to a pinkish screen that asked me to load a format disk.  Some of my games are loading and some are not, is there anything I can do?

id take it back coz it sounds very faulty, but hold out a bit longer someone here may have had the problem b4 =]

I\'ve gotten that a couple times before. I just reinserted the CD, problem solved :)

I get that sometimes, a press of the reset button usually makes the game load fine.
