I also like the new Mustang...
-
What a beast.
-
Good! I was wondering how different it would look without looking like a vette.
-
The "mouth" on the C6 has got to go.
-
looks perrdeee
-
I saw spy pics of it over the summer. Looks a lot nicer than it was all covered up in plastic. I like the C6. Anyone have specs?
-
New mustang is iffy. I like it but then i dont. I dont know what it is. As for the C6, im glad that there is some new styling and hopefully some performance and luxury upgrades (not that thats incredibly easy). I havent been too much into vettes really. Last time i was truely interested was in the 90\'s, plus nothing beats the sexy stingray.:D
As for you vid and american cars, Id say youre about right. Many of the newer cars eat shit hard but there are classics that i would love to have. 1970 Ply. Barracuda being one. Meh. Like many little Japanese car enthusiast, i have fallen in love w/ the 1986 toyota corolla (trueno/levin). It is truely a wonderful car, as lame as that may sound.
-
THe mustang actually looks really nice in person. I always thought the pictures looked like shit, but out at SEMA I saw the one they had and it\'s pretty sweet.
-
I didn\'t notice any difference between the pervious version and this Corvette.
Now that Mustang looks good :) I really like the looks of the 05 GT, but its first year model too many kinks that need to be ironed out.
Even though the C6 technically isn\'t a Chevy I will always consider it one. I hate Chevy\'s. ;)
-
It\'s no viper.
-
$30 grand less and the best low-tech engine ever built. Damn right it\'s no Viper. ;)
vid how about this american car:

The older GT40s were nicer IMO. Although they say its the Ford GT, its still the GT40 to me :)
-
That is a nice car.
-
The 40 in GT40 is for 40 inches tall but the new one is taller than 40 inches if I remember right. :)

The front end reminds me of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, proper evil.
Pretty nice looking car, now to see if you need to be sea-worthy before attempting a corner.
:)
-
THey had the GT at SEMA as well. Nice looking car. Don\'t think we\'ll see many on the streets though. I saw that Corvette is making a version of their car to compete with the GT.
I\'d rather have a ferrari.

November 23, 2003 - Above - Specs and speculation about specs provided by Zane Merva from GM-Trucks.com

The Magnetic Ride is pretty interesting. At least if it\'s what I think it is.
They have small metal beeds in the fluid of the shocks. They have a computer that senses the road every 100th of a second (Or something like that).
They use magnets on the shocks to make the fluid in the shocks either more or less thick by charging the magnet and acting on the metal beeds.
Aparently it works so well you can barely feel railroad tracks. They use it on cadillacs as well.
Cool shit.
-
Thanks for the specs Tryant. A lot more than I wanted but good to see the full specs :)
-
That Ford.. GT  Thats a nice car. If I start saving now, I\'ll be able to afford it in 101 years!
-
The gt is nice. Its so friggin tiny. Like a stepping stool almost. Anyway, that magnet thing is insane. I wonder what theyll do next. And yes vid, Ferraris are great. Some of my favorite cars ever. And while not as fast, you cant count out the M5. Thats a beauty.
But you know, screw all the rest of those cars i want this :D :p
-
M5 is my goal in life. Wife gets a porsche first though. The little things I do.
-
M5 is the f***in perfect car for a daily driver, if one can afford the gas! :) Is the hp on the C6 still 405?

Ditto. Im sure ill get there, its just a question of when. Definately one of my more liked cars. And the porsche? Are we saying that this comes first out of your wallet? The things you do is right. Sheesh
Yeah THX, with a 13MPG city and 21 Highway, you would definately have to thow in some semi major buckos.
