well, it works, but only with ps1 games ;)

Most, if not all, PS1 peripherals will work with PS1 games on the PS2 console.

But the PS2 multitap will not work with psone games on the ps2

I think the multitap can\'t process the button analog data or something, since the buttons are pressure sensitive.
