Does anyone else have mostly bad experiences with them? I swear no matter where I go what I\'m wearing or driving I get harassed. The shit is ridiculous.
I know that there are supposed to be good cops out there but why do I never encounter them? And they wonder why people don\'t like the police.
What are your experiences with law enforcement?

Hmmm....yeah, i have met cops which i would consider good cops and bad cops. Depend on where i lived too, I used to live in a city where lot of rich people live. I encounter usually good cops there, but i do encounter some bad ones, but not that many. Before I moved to this city, I live in an apartment and I encounter more bad cops than good ones. Currently, I lived in a house in a not as rich place where i used to live, but the house was build more recent than that rich place and people here are friendlier than rich place where most are snobs. The cops, well i haven\'t encounter that many, but i think its in between compare to where i used to live.

Our city is full of bad po-pos.
I mean I steal a speed sign at a construction sight, right? It has a HUGE ****ing hole in it, and .22 bullets have riddled it already. I just take the whole thing and plan on making a rail to shred on.
Well we set up the rail at a friends house, and I take the sign home. Then they stop at my house, and demand it. Im like whatever, and give it to them.
Yeah, I have had bad experiences with da law. But overall, nothing serious- Usually I get away, because they are just too lazy.

WTF do you expect Spudz, they are just doing their job. Regardless of whether you think it was ok to steal the sign or not you were in the wrong. Its stealing federal property.
You treat cops like pigs and they\'ll throw it back at you. Maybe its the whole \'you gotta give respect to get it\' kinda attidude...

Never been pulled by the police or had any encounters with them at all. Sexually or otherwise. ;)

My buddies and I were partying in a hotel in high school. Daytona use to be a great place for spring breaks. Hotels would get totally torn up. It was awesome.
I digress.
We leave a hotel and get into my car. Driver\'s side didn\'t open so we got into the passenger side and crawled through.
I was then stopped about 1/2 mile down on suspisions of stealing the car..
4 cops...
Here\'s another. My buddy and I were just driving. We get pulled over for no reason. We are held there for over a half an hour waiting for them to bring someone over to identify us. Apparently someone in a car like mine had just given counterfeit money to a clerk.
Anyway after the guy came and saw it wasn\'t us they let us go. No big whoop.

tru story april 03
i was driving on rt 22 east in bridgewater i drove past a cop on side of the highway, i seen him he comes out speeds up damn near on my bumper & sits there (we all know when they do that they are running your plates!) now mind you i know he\'s back there. anyway i change lanes to go around another car & proceed. so now he speeds up behind me & pulls me over talkin bout i never used my signal which i did, & he also stated that i could get a ticket because he could not see the r in my license plate wtf?
anyway make a long story short i put in a complaint for harrassment & the police sgt. did everything he could to protect this cat. trying to say this was my fault etc etc. anyway i went to court & tried to work out a deal w the prosecuter but he stated there was going to be no deals & that the judge was going to throw the book at me. anyway went to court & the judge threw out the case in which the cop & the prosecuter was furious! at that time i wish i could\'ve threw my jeans & tims on & throw the skully low over my eyes & say F*** you!

There are so few cops around here nowadays. My uncle is a cop however, and he\'s a good cop... I think ;)
The last time I encountered a cop, was new-year 2 years ago.. "Hey, no parking here" .. "Ok”.

once been pulled over, just a routine check, driving around a bad neighbourhood late at night with a broken tale light, I was told my tail light was broken and that this was justt a routine check.
Ended up having a very nice conversation with the police officer about Mortal Kombat.

Me and my friends were at the local park at about 10 pm, and a cop asked us to leave as usual....
We walked down to the road next to the park, and sat on the outer wall of the park (it is outside the fencing of the park)
The cop came down again and was yelling "I told you to leave the park!"
which we replied "WE arn\'t in the park..."
which we werent.... and then he started yelling and using bad language and such and wi think we were like 13-14 years old, and thats not cool....
oh well, mean cops.

this one time I stole this guys car, and about a week later I get pulled over on suspicion of stealing a car, god damn pigs!

I\'ve been pulled over 4 times, and have yet to recieve a ticket. Cops are generally easy to deal with if you\'re cooperative and polite. So many people get so defensive with cops and always think they\'re the victim when all they\'re doing is their job. Just treat the guy like a human being, not some law enforcing robot, and more times than none they\'ll let you off with a warning.
My only gripe is that once my car broke down and I popped my hood and waved down a cop car and it drove right past me; that happened twice in a time period of like 20 minutes.

The good cops are the ones who leave you alone when you\'re doing nothing wrong and you rarely notice them if they don\'t pull you over. ;)

Frankly, I am with Bozco. You are lucky you didn\'t get more. You did steal something that was owned by the goverment.

Two police officers suspected that I stole my car, so they pulled me over with their guns drawn. After they realized I didn\'t steal the car, they were cool.

What pisses me off isn\'t when I get caught breaking a law, but when cops abuse their power, which does happen at times. I was pulled over last spring and ticketed. That sucks, especially since the ticket was for coming to a rolling stop at a stop sign where I almost stopped completely but just didn\'t quite actually come to a full stop. What pissed me off though was what the cop did while giving me the ticket. I was 18 at the time. The cop said they were looking for some people they assumed were teenagers that had been valdalizing property around town. He told me to try to find out who that is and tell him, and if I did, he could make the ticket go away. It became clear at that point that he had targetted me because of my age. That combined with how he was trying to get information from me REALLY pissed me off. It\'s people like that who give cops a bad name, and actions like that which I really can\'t stand.

Anyway, only time I’ve had run in with cops was when I was walking with a few mates to stud park. It\'s a shopping center; anyway as we just got there a few cops pulled up beside us asking our names and what we were doing out so late, it was around 11pm. So we gave them our details and went on our merry way.
Another time was in my very home. My sister has a mate that’s a cop, he\'s name is Ariel, sad but true. Anyway he saw my nice little cd collection and just said "maybe i should take you in" I laughed and said I better start selling the cds to make bail. He found that amusing. Ohh and spudz, he was joking.. He wasn\'t out to get me....
I have a lot of respect for cops, they put there life on the line day in and day out, so snot noise shits like spudz can bytch about it. Not realizing that these guys are whats keeping the other snot noised shitheads from shooting them. Without cops we would be in a pretty shitty world.

I never call the cops. If I was getting mugged I wouldn\'t call them because the crime already happened. I care more about being prepared for a robbery than calling a cop AFTER it happens.
Believe it or not most cops die from traffic accidents. Being a cab driver is more dangerous than being a cop. As a matter of fact much more cab drivers are killed every year than cops. So who should get more respect for putting their lives on the line?
I know that a lot of people feel that cops are needed for society to function. To an extent I agree with them but IMHO cops get WAY more credit than they deserve.
