Title: How to fix a heater?
Post by: Paul2 on January 07, 2004, 12:17:44 AM
A heater in my house doesn\'t seem to be working properly.  It seem to be "working."  But instead of heat coming out the AC, cool air comes out of it.  I put it on the "heat" mode instead of the "cool" mode.  I wonder what could cause this?  Anybody here knows how to fix or any recommendation to hire someone to do it and how much it cost?

Is it a heat pump or is it just a heat coil?

no clue, its inside a door near the entrance of my house.  It looks like a heat pump to me.

Hmm it looks like we\'ll have no clue where to start, it might be a good idea to call the HVAC man and get an estimate.  It may be something as small as replacing the heat coil.

Just call a repair man. I\'m sure its nothing big.
