I didn\'t realise that US schools had uniforms. I thought it was just us Brits and the Aussies.

Short eyes!  She\'s 11 years old.  :D

They are going to throw the book and the whole rest of the law library at her mother.  I predict she will be locked up for a very very long time.

I\'ve heard of worse things people were doing to their kids.  A lady in Ohio shaved her daughters head and convinced everybody, even her daugther, that she had cancer.  She then used the money the community donated to spend on herself.  It went on for well over a year.

I\'d like to bash her on her noggin. Using people\'s sympathy for their own selfish needs.

I had to wear uniforms in jr high, but its uncommon in the US. Mostly private schools do the uniforms.
