Title: Drive within your skill limit. Or end up like this guy.
Post by: GmanJoe on January 12, 2004, 08:09:10 AM
Synopsis : kid test drives a Neon SRT4, everything is fine. Dealer drives back and goes too fast and nearly kills his customer.

Despite that, the guy still wants to buy a one wheel drive SRT4 after dealership is sued.

i guess suing the dealership is more profitable than suing the guy driving

It\'s to relieve pressure to the brain so they drain the extra fluid to prevent the brain from getting squeezed.

Gman that is not a shunt it is simply a "drain" to prevent fluid build up from under the surgical repaired skin tissue.

When a salesman gives a customer a test drive, they are acting on behalf of the dealership for the purpose of closing a sale and making a profit for the company.  The dealership should not be permitted to conduct test drives without bearing the associated risk.  The test drive would not have occured were it not for the seller/customer relationship.

Some lawsuits are frivolous, but this one would not be.

This is going to follow the salesman for quite sometime. I would bet the dealership lets him go. Being fired for breaking the law, and almost killing a customer. Then causing the dealership tons of money is not going to look good on a resume.
