Blair takes on rebels over fees
Tony Blair will try to face down his critics over top-up fees when he delivers a key speech on higher education on Wednesday.
Ex-cabinet minister Clare Short has said Mr Blair must quit if he loses a Commons vote on his policy.
His speech will come just hours after Charles Clarke appears before the Commons education committee.
The education secretary is also due to talk to MPs at a Parliamentary Labour Party meeting.

WTF is a "top-up" fee? The words British people use for things often leave me a bit confused. :(

Top up Fee = another term for "don\'t pay now...pay later"
Anway Prime Ministers question time was very heated.
The Conservative leader Michael Howard hand Tony on the ropes over this & Hutton.
