Title: Safari Question
Post by: videoholic on January 15, 2004, 01:52:23 PM
OK, I have finally upgraded to OSX.3

I have to admit it\'s pretty nice.

I have a question though.
Safari is giving me a strange box under some people\'s messages.  Any ideas?

Hmmm Safari works fine for me, check Software update and see that you have the newest Safari version.

Until then, if the boxes really piss you off I recomend Camino over at http://www.mozilla.org

I did a search, and did not find any reference to this problem.  If you really want to find out what\'s going on, I suggest you post a question in THIS forum:

Hit your print screen button.  It copies your screen to your clip board.  Then just paste it into any paint program and save it.

Make sure you are running the newest version of Safari. I know, I use to have the same problem, updated Safari and fixed the problem.

However, if that doesn\'t fix your problem, go to Macosxhints.com, register at their board and the answer will present itself.

I just installed 10.3  Seems like 10.3 would have the newest version.  I\'ll check that too though.

ok videoholic, thanks for the tips.  I will try that print and paste method.  it said that i need to install my printer.  BTW, i just reinstall my window xp, and i couldn\'t install my hp deskjet 932c printer.  I need to get the service pack from hp online.

Anyway, why does it ask for my printer when i hit print?  I found the copy and paste method seems to work.  But the print doesn\'t seem to work...shrug...

are you hitting "print screen"?  On a basic keyboard it\'ll be to the left of scroll lock.
