Who are you?

for a one moment Vid.. i thought you bought a I pod and the Battery died on you.
-
IPod is probably the only ting Mac I would ever buy. Those damn things are cool.
-
Careful vid some of the earily models have a problem with the batter life.
and from the sound of things (well over here) it costs about as much as a new I pod to get a replacement battery.
-
Cool. So I can say that IPods suck too? Awesome..
-
Can you use a different web browser?

No. Ipods rock.

It\'s sporatic. I have a gray box in Samwise\'s post above, but no gray box in this post.
ANd yes, I could use IE, but Safari is pretty darn nice.

problem has become so overblown it\'s not even funny, like ALL batteries they are sensitive to the way they are charged, if you charge it incorrectly, frequently charging without much use, or leave it charging for a long time it\'s operating time will get shorter.
You can get new batteries, around 50$ from a 3rd party IIRC.
And Apple doesn\'t even make the batteries, blame the battery manufacturer not the company that buys from them.

Throw mac in bin, buy pc instead.
There, problem solved. ;)

Just when all the mac bashing starts L-I-C isnt here to protest. Boo Hoo.
Used to love them.... now? eh

Ironically, the people complaining about the battery life "problem," that is the ones to bring it up when the topic is raised for the most part, are the ones who don\'t even own an iPod, right ooseven? Regardless, like most electronic products, the people who have problems are much more vocal then those who have none. Millions of people own iPods and there are about a couple hundred people complaining to high heaven about the battery problem. Do the percentage math on that one and I\'m sure you\'ll find the PS2, as a comparative item, died at least 10~20 times more often then the iPod\'s. Besides that, the iPod is under warranty for a year when you buy it online so any problems you have with it, Apple fixes. Lastly, and something a bit more ironic seeing as this is a Playstation 2 board, Sony makes the battery in iPods iirc.

Actually my Titamium\'s battery works great. Had the computer now for almost 3 years and it\'s still cooking over 2 hours.
I know you are talking about the IPod, but I am trying to get you dweebs back on topic.
-
IMAC\'s OWN YOU ALLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry, but it had to be done.

Correct ... BUT i found it strange that it made the news in such a hap-hazard way.
I mean from what I have heard/watched and read *coff*BBC,Channel 4 news , Talk Sport News , Sky One news & just about every UK paper*coff*.
The blame was at Mac\'s Door, Something about …oh the ipod we tested died due to battery failure, and when we phone Mac up to complain they told us to go screw ourself “Story”.
if it came to it
an Ipod over any other MP3 player the Ipod would get my Vote, but thats not to say i won\'t be Laminating both the purchase recite & warranty card ”JUST IN CASE”
