A.I.- I have no idea what spilberg was trying to do with that one. But at the end of it I kind of felt sorry for the energizer bunny.

I thought it was awesome. I liked Shakespeare\'s version as well, and this one was done really well. Julia Stiles sex scene was bonerific.

Saw it over the weekend...not hard to be sad when that\'s pretty much the whole movie\'s intention. Really sad.

Being a father - My Life wins this category hands down.

When I was around 7 years old I got choked up after watching Watership Down and Silent Running when that little robot bit it.

I think Cold Mountain was also really depressing too. The ending and the war at the beginning.

OMG, did anyone see that bit with the guy getting ripped to shreads when the bomb hit. I was pretty freaked out be that.

A Walk to Remember got me good... My girlfriend was away at the time and when I saw that movie I almos cried like 3 times during the movie. lmao

More recently, The Last Samurai was also pretty sad at the end.

I never found American History X depressing. Very good movie, but not depressing. Saving Private Ryan as well. Black Hawk Down for some odd reason was more so IMO just for the fact that it was so utterly hopeless. That and just as gory id not more so.

The Green Mile
A.I.
Royal Tennenbaums (no surprise-sucked hardcore)

Cant think
