- 25th Hour - Great film. Gives you a lot to think about and you feel for the characters.
- American History X - Another great film with Edward Norton. The ending makes it extremely depressing.
- Pay it Forward - Yes, it\'s extremely mainstream, but once again, the ending .
- Dancer in the Dark - Musical starring Bjork.
- Bicinenntial Man - Robin Williams. Got killed by the reviewers, but it chokes me up everytime.

I thought it was awesome. I liked Shakespeare\'s version as well, and this one was done really well. Julia Stiles sex scene was bonerific.

Being a father - My Life wins this category hands down.
When I was around 7 years old I got choked up after watching Watership Down and Silent Running when that little robot bit it.

Sweet november. :mecry:

What was the mood in White Oleander to you mm?
-
I think Cold Mountain was also really depressing too. The ending and the war at the beginning.
OMG, did anyone see that bit with the guy getting ripped to shreads when the bomb hit. I was pretty freaked out be that.

Was we watching a different movie?
I thought \' The Last Samurai\' had too happy of an ending.
-
The ending of that movie was foreshadowed to be so much different. Thermopylae anyone?
-
I watched American History X again today, so, it\'s still sad. Best DRAMA/ACTION/REALITY movie ever!
-
I never found American History X depressing. Very good movie, but not depressing. Saving Private Ryan as well. Black Hawk Down for some odd reason was more so IMO just for the fact that it was so utterly hopeless. That and just as gory id not more so.
The Green Mile
A.I.
Royal Tennenbaums (no surprise-sucked hardcore)
Cant think
