Nice ride.
-
How much did your parents pay for it?
-

Vapor, Swif, whatever you want to be called. There is no need for those posts in this thread. If you have nothing good to say, then don\'t post. It\'s very rare I ever have to delete or edit one of your posts , so consider it a warning.
With that said.
Congrat\'s, Titan.
What Year?
-
What he say?!
Sounds nice. V-8 huh. I envy you...hehehe, unless I drive a 5.7 V-8 350!!
Yeah...
-
I just got a little grumpy because my parents didn\'t happen to buy my car.
I drive an 88 Honda Accord, I pray each night that it will start the next morning.
:)

At least your car is not in the front yard wrecked.
:D

Yeah, it sucks. That\'s why I love Ashley to death. I payed so much for her and I LOVE HER :( :( I need a job though, need to fix her up a bit. Maybe new grill and a refurbishing job.

:nopics:

Not many people here in the uk can afford to run a V8, goddamn rip off fuel prices. :(
-

damn that\'s about how much i pay for both of my cars! where do you live lic? as you know i\'m in jersey and we have i think the highest ins. premiums in the country!
(oh and congrats titan!) :)
-
Swifdi, I paid for it myself. And oman, its a 1997. I got a great deal on it.
-
Heres a side pic. Had to resize it, the other one took 10mins to upload.
-
Here\'s an engine shot.
-
And my favorite shot, the manifold with the 4.6 on it. Sorry for the wait. I took pictures this afternoon but my camera was being a pain and wouldn\'t upload to my computer. But it is worth the wait :driver:
-
How much?
-
And where do you work?

Kentucky.
And Swif, give it a break. He said he paid for it, so assume he did. And if not, what does it matter to you? So what if his parents helped him buy his first car? That\'s what parents do. They help their kids.

I\'m just curious, that\'s all. Just wondering what job there is out there for a 17 year old to purchase a 97 T-bird.

Target.
I just spend it all on food and CDs.
-
CDs that get stolen, and food that gets eaten. All that money and nothing to show for it!
-
If he hits you with that T-Bird the spending won\'t all be in vain.

Damn, that was a low blow.
I think Swifdi doesn\'t realize he is not the normal male or teenager. He is constantly thinking about what the responsible thing is to do or how he shouldn\'t have sex with his girlfriend. Maybe he shouldn\'t have an ATM card also...Too much worrying about what is right and wrong, instead of just living life. Remember folks\', you can die at any given time. Enjoy it while you can.. Do you want to die a virgin? If not, think about the fact you could die driving to school tommorw. Do you want to die saying you never experienced fine music or cinema? Go buy some, for cryin\' out loud. Quit worrying about twenty years ahead of time.
-
That\'s not necessarily true. The sex thing is a respect thing that I knew I was a part of once we started going out, big whop. Besides, it\'s hard to go out with someone for a year and do absolutely nothing. So that\'s not even an issue, and so far living responsibly has done me pretty well and my "bend don\'t break" philosophy hasn\'t failed me yet. I\'m happy with how my life is now, I\'m not all about "living on the edge". When I started high school I lived like that, that crap is overrated and doesn\'t get you anywhere.
It\'s called growing up. Although I was young, my life didn\'t begin the day I registered here. I did drink, mess with girls, and do stupid things the "average teenager" does and it was basically a life in which the excitement was short lived. The point is this "average teenager" your talking about is an irresponsible moron.
-
I agree with that approach but I still find time to have some mindless fun.

Thanks LIC. And swifdi, I don\'t have a job but I worked during the last couple summers everyday from the end of school (June) to September. And I got the car from a person that got it from an auction (so it was cheaper than normal). It wiped out my bank account though so I have nada. I\'m gonna apply at some places tomorrow. I keep applying but no one hires me. Maybe I smell :(
-
Nifty car.. I had a major piece of shit as my first car. Got it out of a junk yard.
So have you gotten laid in it yet?
Do time mon ami.. do time.......
My car now is the only one I haven\'t had sex in. Dang.. I need to check that off of my to do list..
I gotta get outta here...

Nah but I think its about time I "cristen" the new car.
-
Yeah, but you should probably get a chick to help you.
Don\'t do it alone like swifdi christened his.
