I have this song, it\'s one of my favorites, in my collection, but I would like to know who sings it. It\'s got a radiohead flavor to it, and the voice is very close to Thom Yorke, but it\'s not them. It was labeled as a song called "union".
I can send it to the first 1/2 dozen or so people who PM me - *cough, cough*... ahhh, that is tell them where to buy it (lol, with me asking what it is) :D
PMs will probably arrive tomorow.
Here are the lyrics, as best as I can understand them (some parts mumble). I\'ve searched lyric archives, but no luck.
mumbles = ---
long breaks = ...
unsure = italics
...
Sign of the union, and your faith in trouble,
always maintain an appeal to the crowd.
The people couldn\'t see that the planes were crashing,
and the cries of my brothers, who were forced underground,
without sound, sound
...
The leader yelled ---- ,
but the mob said ---- ----, (too high?)
on behalf ---- ---- ---- ---- ----,
but the leader said \'please for the sake of my home,
and the ---- of ---- ----\', he promised to try,
and it was all in context, and a manner of speaking,
the people wanted softness, not a figurehead preaching.
What did I say?
What did I do?
What are you here for?
You\'ve got nothing to lose.
...
And the ---- ---- ----,
and the ---- ----,
didn\'t have imagination and reasons why,
spit me out on my ---- little ----, (little path or little a$$))
somehow, ---- ---- ----,
I managed to survive,
and it was all in context, and a manner of speaking,
the people wanted softness, not a figurehead preaching.
What did I say?
What did I do?
What are you here for?
You\'ve got nothing to lose.
.....
and it was all in politics, and a manner of speaking, (context would make more sense)
the people wanted softness, not a figurehead preaching.
What did I say?
What did I do?
What are you here for?
You\'ve got nothing to lose.

I agree. It can\'t compare to Mariah Carey or that crap you listen to.,

^^
Funny thing is I don\'t listen to that \'crap\'.
I say the chicks hot and then get abused!
As for the song, why don\'t you go to one of those lyrics websites? There are many out there now where you can actually search lines of the song and see what comes up.
I\'ll try now...
EDIT - no luck, didn\'t realise you had already tried them!
-
That\'s what you get for not listening to mainstream music sucker!

Bullllllllllllllshit.
Ill look around for the song, right now I cant think of it.
-
Checked out muse\'s website, this one isn\'t listed, so unless it\'s a bside or something, it isn\'t them.
Only had ONE person want to listen to it, with no luck on artist (or the mumbled lyrics)

NECROPOST!!!
Wow, a big necropost. As often happens (ie, once a year when I try) I was trying to figure out WHO THE HELL sings this song, and I entered some of the lyrics into google, and LO AND BEHOLD (http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=343596) I see that LIC did TRY to find this song. I think I may try this tact this year. Time to spread the message around hundreds of forums, HUNDREDS!

8 years journey to ID the song?
-
Hmm. Did a quick google search. This popped up.

Either LIC and FatalXCeption have a split personality, both are looking for the song or they are the same person.
Anyway, Fatal/LIC, whoever, its a cover of a Blondie song by Radio Head. A 2 second google search of your lyrics led me to this. Glad I could help end your 8 year search for the song :)
