So what do you guys think of getting our power from the moon.
Could fuel the entire planet for 1000 years. Pretty amazing.
We need to photo shop what the moon would look like in 3150 if we start mining the thing.
-
Yes! We need to destroy that moon! Lord knows it does nothing for us..
:)
-
I wonder how mining the moon would effect the tides...
-
What will the werewolves do? :(
-
Yea we\'re gonna run out of oil, gas and uranium in 2150. Didn\'t they say we were going to run out of food in the 1970\'s?

Exactly my point.

FYI, that site has about as much journalistic integrity as SUN, th\' National Enquirer, or any magazine that has a picture of Bat Boy on the cover. I wish it were true, though. 1000 years of energy..

Ummm, food is not by definition a limited resource.... oil IS....
-
let\'s see here, oil is going to run out in 2150.....hmmmm I guess I\'ll let my kids worry about that one.
-
We really can\'t run out of oil per se. Oil will be replenished in millions of years after we\'re all dead and decomposing. Oil is a fossil fuel, it needs breaking down matter to be produced. So, in the lives of humans, we\'ll never see oil again :)

Um....hey, you retarded mongoloids....the moon is made of cheese. Or did you dimwits forget?
I swear. I wonder why everyone else is so stupid but me. I like cheese. :p
-
I think this is appropriate.

What about earth\'s orbit? I think we should leave it alone

What are you talking about? Care to explain?
-
What if it ****s up the moon and floats aways? I thought that would also throw the earth out of it\'s orbit, too...
-
Uh....dudes....the mass of the Moon is too large for mining to have an impact on its orbit. Think about this....there are literally several thousands of man made satellites orbiting our Earth. Most will plummet into the Earth and get burned in the atmosphere, the rest will move further away. The Moons orbit will not be affect by us mining it.
And just FYI....the moon is moving slowly away from Earth. Has been for 3 billions of years. But look...it\'s still there.
Hey....this is romantic! We\'re all staring at the moon together! :D
