where is it?

I once knew a guy that had a hernia in his ball sack and he thought it was cancerous. Hmmm, ok, it was one of my wrestling buddies and i gave it to him when I accidently slapped his nuts against the shower nozzle.

good times.

You\'ll be fine, just make sure you dont let those fat ass nurses give you bed baths, unless of course your into bulging beauties.

^ to much info dood, mines also in my groin, not my ball sack.
I won\'t be having any baths/showers.
It\'s only a 1 night stay, so i\'ll have a shower before i go, the next day i come back home at 10am. So i\'ll have a shower then.
I\'m not worried about the operation. It\'s the shaving part i\'m freakin about

Kooweerup. Small country type hospital. They\'ve cut a 10cm cut into me. I can bearly move, in pain right now at the keyboard. It was meant to be keyhole. Donno why they did this, never got to speak with the specialist. Anyway, in to much pain later.

I have a hernia, but it\'s at the top of my stomach at the entrance, but the DOC told me he\'d split me stem to sternum and I told him he could go f*ck his self unless of course I was going to die from it. But looks as if they can do this arthoscopicallly now so I might just go get it done.

Hernias pretty much blow.  Our sports photog had one and couldn\'t shoot for a long long time.  I ended up shooting sports for him for quite a while.

The hernia I have allows stomach acids to rise back into my throat so, that blows, I took the medicine for it but it only made it worse, well not worse just made me sick to my stomach to eat.

usually surgey is not required for this type of "hernia" if you take a medication like prilosec or previcid for a period of month the thining will thicken again someone and can be "healed" but if you do nothing about it the acid will contiue to burn and then sooner or later you will have so much scare tissue built up that you may end up getting surgey that you wont like at all I promise.

Hello again. Still in pain, will be a few days before I’ll be able to walk upright. Toilet trips are a real f@#ken joy. I can barely sleep, only can lay on my back and I’m hating that. They told me it\'ll be 9 days before i can walk upright with little to no pain. I\'m close to 3 days now and its getting easier slowly. My back hurts like hell, the hospital beds are f@#ked. They’re so bad, I started to slide down the f@#ken thing everytime it was upright. They were to small for me too, which didn’t help. if u guys wanna see a pic of the cut i could take a pic of it.. Although it\'s not the most pleasant looking thing.

Although i\'m hating the pain, i\'m glad i got this done. In the long run  it\'ll be better for me.

Really see the thing is I asked the doctor if my GERD was related to the Hiatal hernia, and well he simply said no, which surprised me after reading some of these things saying it is. I mean this was a specialist and now I\'m reading this, I have the purple pill forgot the name, same thing as prilosec though, it just sucked taking it everday because it made me sick, I took it for like 3-4 months hopefully it healed it.

Ya he just called it GERD right Gastrio Espohogeal Reflux Disease and doesnt have to be realated to Hiatal Hernia, GERD is when the little flap that is suppose to keep the acid from going into you esophogus for whatever cannot do it well and then you get "reflux" still if untreated it will cause terrible scaring.
