Title: Why not recombine Current Events with OT?

Didn\'t you guys make the Current Events forum to get rid of the excess threads about Iraq(or something like that)?

It is a pretty slow forum and would benefit from having more exposure to some of the threads over there.

i agree too, it was good when there was lots of threads about the war etc, but thats all quietened down now, bring it all back to ot

Please don\'t do this.  We are in a presidential election year, and I predict there are going to be A LOT of political threads in the coming months.  I\'m going to start many of them.

There is no advantage to combining the forums, only potential disadvantages.

Vid already said there was only one mod opening, so I assume it will include OT and whatever else.  I also assume that means I won\'t win...

I want to keep the forum no matter who the mods are.

Yea, I already stated my opinion on this in the other thread.  Essentially Current Events is the info without half the spam.
