To his credit, we all do dumb stuff. I put diseal in my 2002 Celica when I first got it. Don\'t ask how, I just did.

By saying "We all do dumb stuff" I certainly hope you aren\'t putting me into the class of human that would actually put diesel into a regular car.

Man but it looked nice and sunny where that guy is at I would have just turned around.

I am envisioning LIC with like a hammer whacking the nozzle trying to get it into the tank.

Back in the 80\'s I put leaded gas into a 1978 Ford station wagon that required unleaded only. I knew what I was doing, but I had no choice. There were no gas stations for 50 miles, so I had to buy some gas from a boat dock! It ruined the catalytic converter. :(

I drove up next to the pump and realized my cap was on the wrong side so I made a U-Turn to the opposite pump and realized it was the same exact thing...

I angled the hose. Yes, that\'s what I done. I had never bought deisel before and never had an encounter with the special caps / hoses. Thought nothing of it, noticed it didn\'t fit, was sleepy and cold, so I angled the hose so that deisel would go in. Put half a tank in, drove down the road, car died. Long story short...

Caught a ride with a cop, rode in the back seat to the local wrecker. Had it towed it and the wrecker drove me home.

Post by: Skyrider666 on February 12, 2004, 05:17:12 PM: Well I drove a 4WD into one of them multi story carparks and because of the way the ramp was just as the back of the car went through it scraped the roof.I was like WTF,so turned round and the roof rack was a couple inches to high to make it back out.We had to let most the air out the tires and get about 10 people weighing it down enough to get under.

Talk about embarassing.

Whatever works man. I haven\'t done any improvising in my car. Haven\'t had enough time with my car to do that.
