that Hartz crap dosen\'t work at all.  My wife bought this stuff from the Vet that was pretty expensive, but it works great.

I don\'t remember the name, but when I get home i\'ll check.

Just make sure you don\'t get it mixed up with dog flea powder. It is in a similar package and as it is much stronger it will kill the cat. Believe it or not this has happened.

My roommate used to have a cat, and we tried everything.  NOTHING ever worked 100%  The best temporary solution was the most expensive.  Take the cat to a veterenarian and let them bathe the cat in whatever professional flea killing solution they use.  While the cat is gone, bomb your house with Zodiaque or the most brutal stuff you can find.  Sweep, mop and vacuum thoroughly to get rid of the eggs in the carpet, etc.

As much work as that is, it\'s still not 100% effective.

Honestly, bathe the cat and shave it. That  does wonders.
And yes - I\'ve done it.

Shave a cat? Why?

Ive given one of my old dogs a haircut. Its one of those mutts with fur over its eyes so it always runs into things. So I just cut it when it was sleeping.

It wasn\'t the medicine that killed the cats, it was me that killed the cats

Seriously though, I think thats the stuff we use on my cat and he\'s fine...a bit dumb but he\'s fine.
