Seen the previews for rise to honor looks nice.
Check it out at gamespot they rated it poorly.
I know sony made it so I am almost it expecting it too suck.
Anyone else check it out?
I may rent it this week end to see it for myself.

I saw an interview from the Official PS2 magazine DVD.It didnt impress me.The fight scenes look kind of stupid.The hits dont fit withthe movments and the animation although motioned captured from Jet Li himself they seem kind of altered and unrealistic in the game.

IGN gave it a 5.8 but the reader reviews average in the 8\'s. Sigh.. looks like another rental.

I played the demo at Target, nothing special. Its weird using the right analog stick to punch/kick.

The game looks good but the animations kill it. That and the pseudo button mashing gameplay. The ideas they had were good but the execution is far below what they were going for. Maybe you need to watch a couple of videos to help you out but Id stay away from it. A rental at best

that\'s a shame i really thought they were going to tighten up the gameplay..even the commericials for it, when they showed parts of the game the fighting looked fidgety,. not really smooth..not sure if it\'s the game engine, the pgmrs, or both, maybe they should have spent more time on it.

The sad thing is people will buy it just because Jet Li is in it.

I bought this game , but I have not played it yet.
Because I have no free time to play it.
MAFIA is the reason , why I have no time to play this game ;)
Next weekend I will have played it. and Ý will post a reply again about the game

rented the game and i\'ll be honest the game isn\'t perfect..it took awhile but now it has grown on me..this game plays out just like one of his movies the story is standard stuff but the way it\'s presented is AAA quality..the gameplay can get to be a bit repetitive & some of the bosses tend to be a little cheap..you have to figure out how to fight each one.
for example..some bosses you have block their attacks then respond..some you have counter then respond..some you just have to all out attack..but overall i feel it\'s a solid title..when jetli picks up weapons he\'s does it just like he would in the movies..it\'s pretty slick and the slow-mo cutscenes after a combo may get tiresome for some but not to me..
i don\'t know, i like my games challenging, but nothing to the point to where it\'s frustrating (to me rise to honor has an equal balance of difficulty & gameplay except for a few spots)when i was younger i would take the task at hand for any game no-matter how hard it was...now i just don\'t have the patience..programmers should be able to make games with an equal amount of difficulty & great gameplay (beyond good & evil) <-----this game is truly a sleeper hit...only spot where i say rise to honor is lacking is in the operating of the guns.
he can\'t peep out behind walls or anything..you have to basically run & gun, to make up for it they have this matrix still feature in which everything slows down but they should have spent more time on that aspect of it..overall i see alot of game sites have been grading it in 6.0\'s 7.0\'s..i feel it\'s a solid 8.3..a few flaws but with just a little more tweaking this game could have been perfect.
