Tried this last year and it didn\'t work, but I\'ll try it again. If possible, I\'d like to get a psx2c fantasy baseball league together similar to the fantasy football ones we do. If we can get enough interest here, I\'ll start one. So who all would be interested?
-
You\'ll always have my support, since I do just about every fantasy league with you, anyway :)
See Yuz.
-
Two guys in a fantasy...
Nah...too easy...
-
I definetly want to be in one if there is one, but I only want too if all you lazy people keep track of yer teams and make trades and dont forget about itttttttt
And this will be on yahoo? non money? live draft?
and if not, specifics please. thankyou.
-
yeah, it prolly would be live, yahoo, non money, that\'s how the football one went.
I know me and James are always active, it\'s just a question of getting at least 8 to run a decent league.

So how does fanasy baseball work compared to fantasy football?
-
I\'m in.

Each week you play someone. At the end of the week, the stats your team puts up are compared. Each matchup, you get 10 wins or loses. The person who wins average gets a win, the person who wins HR\'s gets a win, the person who wins ERA wins, etc. Then you move on and face someone else. That determines your record, and there are playoffs at the end. You basically take a starting lineup, with DH, 7 pitchers, and a bench.

Eh, What the hell. I\'m in.
-
Hmm, so that makes 6 of us so far.
Me, Jamas, Deadly Hamster, Luke, Hurricane, Black Samauri
We should shoot for 8-12. Looks like it might actually happen this year :)
-
I\'d like to play, but I\'ve never done it before. I\'m not sure how much time it takes, or how we draft.
I guess you can count me in, though. :)
-
The draft takes a while, and all members usualy are there for the duration of the draft. It can take a few a hours if I remember correctly....
Basically after the draft, you can just check out yer teams stats etc, whichever team has the best player performances gets the most points....
Then you can try and trade, replace hurt players, make switches with free agents, and all that good stuff.
it really is pretty fun. :)
-
Draft usually takes 1 and a half hours or so.
After that, nothing is that time consuming at all :)
-
I\'ll take Dale Murphy...
Ah.... THe memories.. Back when Baseball was actually worth watching.
I remember when I was a kid keeping score.....
I\'m such a loser.
-
I dominated both psx2central fantasy football leagues this year (gotta rub it in :) ).... so count me in for the fantasy baseball as well.
-
that makes 8! Come on, let\'s get like 2 more :)
-
Sign ups are now open on yahoo, just wondering when everyone plans on this happening?
-
I\'ll register the league now, and send PM\'s to the people who said they\'d play :)
-
Ok, the league is registered on Yahoo.
League ID: 184771
Password: clyde
I\'ll PM everyone...join up :)
-
It\'s tellinjg me the password is incorrect... I\'m pretty sure I\'m doing this right but maybe you wanna hit me with a link?
-

It says the draft is 19 days from now.. is that true?
-
I set a draft date sorta randomly. It can be changed. I figured once all 8 people are in the league we can try to find a date and time that works for everyone.
-
Aye.
Heh, 8 teams and only room for 200-320 out of ~800~ players in the major leagues..
Y\'know what that means? Sorry, Tanyon Sturtze.. no roster spot for you! Har har har.
-
:)
Think we\'re just waiting on Hurricane now.
-
Now that everyone has joined, shall we discuss when we want the draft?
-
Fantasy Baseball Anyone?
No thanks.
