ive been thinking for a long time of getting one, only a msall one on my wrist, on the underside, was thinking of getting a iron cross, or maybe a "spade" from a deck of cars, but cant really think of much esle..... anyone got any ideas?

Seriously though I\'m not really into tattoos and I have never had one, my brother has his name in japanese written down his arm though (from his karate days).

I won\'t say "don\'t" - but I will say that if you cannot come up with an original design on your own and know where to put it on your own, then you are not ready for one. This is going to be on your body for the rest of your life, do you want a barb wire around your arm like thousands of other people? The whole point of a tattoo, is to decorate your body and make yourself unique. You\'re losing the purpose of it with this thread and question.

I usually only get a tattoo if it means something, not for decoration. I say wait until you hae an idea about something that "means" something to you, then get it. If it\'s just for decoration, you may regret it.

You obvious don\'t read a lot of my posts. :)
I\'m an avid fan of body modification in any form. I do have a tattoo, piercings (over 20 piercings at one time) and would love to get my complete back done. I just think Kopking\'s reasons for getting one is completely wrong.

Sorry man, just sounds like your trying to justify your views and then you start saying I’ve got this and that. Seems like you do it for show, rather then a passion for say.
Maybe kopking just wants ideas. In the end its still his own tattoo and still his own choice. Makes no difference if other people have it. I\'m sure other people have many piercings. That doesn\'t make u a sheep because u decided for yourself to get some.

Not that the last step is in any way shape or form connected to the first 2... thank God......
BTW: Don\'t get anything unless it really means something to you. The one I have now is a design I created about 5 or 6 years ago. I could never get something that someone else designed.

i think its a nice thing, i have some ideas in my head, but nothing clear.. and even if life does get better, it will be there to remind me of those times... and its not that its going so bad..... i dunno its hard to say.........

Best of luck to whatever you decide, but I think if you can\'t settle on one design yet, then you don\'t need to make the plunge. I waited years before I got mine, tinkered with the design off and on and then it finally "clicked" and I got it done. I\'ve had it for a few years now and still love it and never regret it (yet). I\'d love to get another one, but I refuse to rush into it, instead I\'m tinkering with more designs and it\'ll be at least another five years or more before I commit to a specfic design. Don\'t rush yourself. You have all your life, make it count, otherwise you\'ll be paying more money to get it covered up or removed.

I bought the manufactured case simply because I wanted a pre-modded case.. I already went through all the modding with my old case. So I’ve done the modding time byatch..
I wanted a larger case that I didn\'t have to mod. (Although I will end up modding the face plate, LED display, and add 2 cathode switches to a drive bay) When you get a 30 buck case and mod it to the level my old case was. Then you can give me crap.
