Title: They are close to getting him?
Post by: Titan on February 25, 2004, 02:02:26 PM: Ha. They\'ve been saying this for 2 years now. The US Military claims to be very close to Osama. They\'ve said this for 2 years now. Wonder if this is true. Would be great if it is.

Post by: Kurt Angle on February 25, 2004, 02:28:35 PM: We have heard all this before quite frankly. It would make more sense to me for the US to keep things like this more quiet. If he gets wind of stories saying he will soon be captured then he will flee to some place else.

With that said he will probably be caught sometime around the beginning of November.

Post by: Titan on February 25, 2004, 06:31:47 PM: I was just thinking. What if the Government is doing this as a way of capturing Bin Laden. They do this to get Bin Laden stirred up and flee, making it easier to catch him on satellite or to catch him in the fleeing process. Just a thought :)

Post by: Living-In-Clip on February 29, 2004, 11:30:48 PM: When we started this war on terrorism, all we heard was "we\'re close" or "anytime now" and what has happened? Nothing. Instead, we focused our attention on Saddam, kept hearing the same stuff and finally caught Saddam. Now that Saddam is out of the limelight, we are back to "we\'re close" with Osama . Give me a break. How many times have we been "close" in two years and somehow also manage to blow it?

With all that said, it would not surprise me for him to be "caught" near election time. Then again, nothing surprises me when it comes to our Goverment.
