Title: Socom 2 online question

In the online mode, is it quick deaths (I mean like one hit kills) like in socom 1 or can you actually get hit and stay alive (like in FPS with a health bar). Just wanted to know because the one thing that pi55ed me off about the first one was dying from one shot then sitting there for 5 minutes waiting to play again.

Can anybody shed some light on how the online scheme works in this one?

You do have a life bar, although if someone shoots you in the head, your done!  Its seems to be a little more realistic in the fact that you rally cant take that many bullets.  SOCOMII is WAY better than SOCOMI.  If you liked one, you will love 2.  They kept all the old maps without glitches, and added a crap load more.

SOCOM 2 rules for online play.  I haven\'t found a better game for an online experience for the PS2 yet.

About online. I ordered broadband yesterday (should have it on the 12th March :bounce: ) and I have a modded PS2 am I shafted if I wanna go online ?

true and not true

true its awesome and you should pick it up - but there are more glitches as well as old ones from beta and ones from socom 1 maps - most are gone but a lot are still there - although you can one shot people a lot of the time with headshots and heart shots - very rare -  most of the time bullet detection is off - might be lag but i think different

all in all the game is great though and is the reason ive been lacking from the forums
