This is great news for Nintendo fans, seeing as how Miyamoto is easily one of, if not the top game designer in the industry. If he can focus on 2-4 games instead of having to chime in on 20 or more.. we should see some very high-quality stuff come from his teams.
FYI, the last game he directed was Super Mario 64. Recently, the one game he was majorly involved in was Pikmin.. IMO one of the more inventive and entertaining new titles so far this generation.
Heh, it\'s kind of funny that it happened like this since Nintendo fans have been complaining that Shiggy is being spread too thin for the last few years. Now Nintendo has finally listened and let the man concentrate his efforts.

Rumor: New Mario RPG for GCN? That\'d be good. Co-developed by Square-Enix and Nintendo? Even better.

A new Mario RPG...that\'s exciting! I must have played through the SNES game five times. I really hope SquareEnix get involved...and I absolutely forbid which ever internal team did FF:Crystal Chronicles to touch it or any other game!
