Title: anyone know Lightwave 3d?
Post by: theomen on March 14, 2004, 07:15:15 PM
Can someone help me with a tutorial on how to make something look like it\'s melting into a puddle?  Or how to make a puddle morph into a solid object.

I\'ve tried Lightwave... and I think it sucked. :p

I just never got around to learning the interface... seemed pretty overwhelming compared to Maya or 3dsmax.

Well, both Maya and Cinema4D have a default set of deformation objects. In C4D just put the "Melt" object as a child of your mesh and then you can tweak and animate the amount of "melting".
I wouldn\'t know if such deformation object sets are in Lightwave .........
