Ok you loser mac people. How the heck can I sync this pocket pc to my OS 10.2????
I am using entourage for my calendar and contacts. I\'d like to sync them with my unit.. uh, I said unit...
:gman:
Right now it looks like I have to invite myself (On my PC email) for any calendar event I want entered. Then sync it at home with my PC.
PS: I know this is in the wrong forum. I\'ll move it soon. As soon as the defenders of the evil mac empire give me wonderful news.
-
Why did you choose a pocket pc? That may be part of the problem, since you bought into the evil empire. I don\'t know for sure, but maybe something running palm os might have been more compatible.
-
Well I didn\'t buy it to meld into the mac world. It\'s mine. I just would like to import my calendar from my POS work computer.
And from what I here, OS10.2 doesn\'t work with Palm either. Apparently the rumour is that apple is going to hav etheir own PDA or something.
-
I see no purpose for the PDA market. Most cell phones will manage your contact lists and so on.
-
would\'ve invested in an Ericsson P900 or something, pda\'s are a dying market.
-
Exactly. If anything they are a niche market, due to the fact that cellphones quickly adapated and took over the jobs of PDA\'s.
-
I would suggest buying a new mac. That seems to be the answer when it cometo mac\'s.

Anyhoo, a quick google search found me these

I still say you should ditch the pocket pc and go with a phone/pda combo like the SonyEricsson P900

Yeah, I found pocketmac. Not sure if I need it now though. I did a lot of the transfer through my PC.
I don\'t want to go with the phone PDA because I don\'t want a big ass pda phone up to my ear. I don\'t want to take it with me everywhere I go like the phone. etc. etc.
The thing is absolutely fantastic for me. I have a horrible memory and I remember things in the middle of the night and in my car. THe worst times because you just forget them when you get where you are going. Now I can just right it down on this and keep it.
I have pieces of paper everywhere at home and in my office with notes scribbled. I end up losing them all the time. It sucks.
Plus I can get a new phone every year for virtually nothing. can\'t do that with a high end PDA phone.
I\'m getting around the mac crap. Piece of shit mac.
