I just saw this, and said "What the ****!"
Buying land, that you will never see, have proof of owning- other than a piece of paper, or use for 30 dollars an acre.
What do you all think?
If its old- talk about it anyway.

why do you have to buy it anyway? :(
who ownes it?
-
no one kind of like how people settled America and other countries
-
This is just bullshit. I don\'t agree with "buying" the moon.
-
u watch. as soon as we can start LIVING on the moon. All the contracts will be void..
-
The aliens that live on the moon will sure be pissed if they find out we are buying their land from under them. ;)
-
Hey, we Americans have had a lot of practice we could do it again.
-
Long ago, the nations of the world made an agreement that none of them could claim rights over any heavenly bodies, in more than a "local" and "current" capacity.
This is the loophole that these people use, they go and register themselves as claiming the land/moon. However, when it comes time to defend those rights, none of the countries in the world will acknowledge them, and there will be conflicting individual claims over different things.
Don\'t waste your money. I can claim I own anything I want... it only means something if there are laws and countries backing that up.

This is like that Star Registry crap. For $50 they send you a piece of paper with the star\'s location and a name of your choosing. Thing is, no one but you knows the name and the same star could have 1000 registered names to it.
