Something light hearted
Its almost enough leave a bad taste in the mouth of even the most diehard Republican ;)
The Republican National Committee enlists Xboxes to boost voter registration.
March 23, 2004 - As part of the Republican National Committee\'s efforts to register more than 3 million new voters in time for this fall\'s presidential election, the organization\'s 18-wheeler registration rig, dubbed "Reggie," will be fitted with Xbox videogame consoles, flat screen plasma televisions, DVD players and satellite television service.
Reggie the Registration Rig began its eight month tour of the United States on March 3 in Washington DC and is being driven by a pair of Nebraska Republicans, Deke and Christine Henderson. Both faithful Republicans list Arizona as their favorite vacation spots.
No details on which titles would be available on Reggie\'s consoles were available. Analysis of photos from several registration events involving the registration rig, however, suggest some sort of racing title at the very least.
IGN will have more on Xbox and the 2004 Presidential Election because we\'ve never had reason to before.
p.s. wasn\'t too sure where to put this in here or in conolse debate... it was kind of 50/50

I live in the area and never heard of this, probably because it\'s not news. ;)
So the Xbox is republican and PS2 is democrat? I guess that makes Gamecube the independent.
-
/me wonders what other electrical products can be classed as republican or democrat ;)...
Normal MP3 player = Republican?
Ipod = Democrat?
*edit*
If the Republican are side\'n with Microsoft... i supose theThe New Axis of Evil..are

There was a poll at the other message board I go to and most PS2 owners are Republican. Granted, out of 54,000 members, only about 200 participated in the poll.
-
And as fate would have it the message board that held the poll was GOP-RAWKS.com

No. It was the Subaru message board. Dingus. :)

Still not exactly a reliable cross section of the United States. Subaru sells more automobiles in the snow belt than other carmakers because their AWD is well suited for that climate. Midwestern flyover states are predominantly republican.
Ipso facto...
