I was watching this TV special today and it talked about a 14 year old who killed one of his peers at school. He lured the victim in the bathroom, slit his throat and then stabbed him multiple times. He went to class with a bloody shirt and shoes and told the teacher he was "nose bleeding" Two kids found the body and then the murderer was arrested.
It was very sad. The victim was an honor student, lot\'s of awards and recognition. All this happened in Miami and they are putting the kid on trial as an adult. If he is found guilty, he might face life in prison.
There are people that argue that kids that age really don\'t know what they are doing and therefore should not be trialed as adults...I say BS. If a kid has the mind set of a murderer and he knows exactly how he\'s going to commit the murder, he pretty much is an adult. The murderer had made plans for a couple of months and he had even made a hitlist and was planning on taking out everysingle one of his victims that very same day, even his sister. He made an 8 step process. "Slit the throat...sit them on a toilet...clean up the blood...make sure they are dead...thank God that it all went good"
If a child at that age doesn\'t know that murder is bad then there are deeper most troubling problems in that kid. Unless he\'s retarded the kid should pay for his crimes and should be charged with a just sentence regardless of how old he/she is. I don\'t think there should be an age when murdering somebody is a less severe offense.
What do you all think?

I agree. When you plan out murders like that then you clearly knew what your doing.

How about letting the victim\'s family each take a turn cracking a couple of bones?

He went back to the classroom with a bloody T-shirt first of all. I would of switched to a new one(all new attire actually), put the old one in a grocery bag, and then burried everything somewhere remote. .I would of put him in bathroom and locked the stall. Flushed the gloves down the toilet then. Such a novice mistake.
Assuming it\'s lunched since it would be exceedingly difficult to lure someone out DURING class, he actually might of got away with it if he actually did plan it more carefully. Multiple stab wounds=violent, act of rage. Can\'t really say what he was thinking. A slit then one other clean stab would of left him ****ed for good but he kept doing it. At the very least, he was an extremely ****ed up honor student who was deeply emotionally troubled and clearly unstable.
Two kids found the body then he was arrested? Fooking fast job to point the finger at him so quickly. You\'d think he\'d be able to hide under the radar for awhile atleast. Plan to kill...but no plan to get away from it.
Still, premeditated crime for the beginning if there were journals. I wouldn\'t buy insanity for a second. All killers are troubled, but they still should go to jail, as should this kid.

He killed his first victim early on the day before actual classes started. And he had made plans like "stash gloves and keep knife in back pocket" and "if somebody sees the bodies kill them too" They also found print outs that came from the net with stuff like how to "become a serial killer" and how to make a homemade bomb.

wow. This kid must be very mentally and emotionally unstable. He deserve jail times for this. But as curious as I am, I wanted to know why he killed those people, including his sister? Probably he watched too much Kill Bill? But I am very serious here, how come no one here ask why he killed those people? Unless he is crazy and do it for no reason, maybe they did something very bad to him that make he go nut and he killed them for revenge?
Either way, I do agree this kid deserve jail time and i think he\'s mess up in the head.

He also had like a list of different "serial killer" movies and stuff like that.
-
So how many people did he kill in total?
-
He killed one person. I don\'t know what happened that ruined his plan.
-
he got caught.. maybe... ;)

Jumpman is about the same age, he should know.

First-degree planned murder, whoever commits it, deserves prison.
