how do you post pics in here? i scrwed up over in consoles debate trying to post a pic..this is what i do.

i have a pic in lotus notes: right click copy..then i come back over to this site & paste...but the pic doesn\'t come up. what am i doing wrong?

hit the img button when you go to the Post Reply page.  Or type in {img}    text   {/img}

ok i just asked one of our network techs if he knew how to cut & paste a pic..he stated something about i couldn\'t do it because i had to upload to the sites server? :confused: anyway i\'ll tell you my dilema...somebody sent me some pics to my e-mail in lotus notes...the pic has a an icon with this under it..(pic01437.jpg).

now i know omen explained to me to go to the img screen on the site.. i did [pic01437]http:text[pic014037]  i know i\'m losin alot of iq points for this but i really wanna learn to do this so i can liven up the site a bit..:) i guess i\'m lookin\' for somebody to walk me thru this and i don\'t want to take up space in here..so if somebody could pm me with precise instructions it would be appreciated. :)

text=the link to the picture.  but if you have the pic on your HDD then hit the attatch file button

so if you have the link the code would be
{img}http://www.picturelink.com{/img}

and of course replace the { with [

ok i have some pics in my folder (file) and i went to attach it...i hit the browse button and opened the file i want to put up..but nothing happens..when i opened it, the file did appear in the space provided but nothing was posted in my thread. any suggestions would be helpful..

ps:this is the file v:\\oper030\\chubb desktop\\oper030 personal\\serena1.jpg

Click post reply first

You just click the browse button in the attach file section and select the file from the browser window that pops up. You must post some text with it or a smilie or a"." in the regular text box above it otherwise it won\'t work.

Check the size of the pic too, if it\'s over 1 meg in size it will be too big.

^^did that nothing happens...i placed some text in the huge box provided where you talk about what your\'re posting..i attached the file which i stated a couple of posts above..the size of the file is 15KB jpeg image..i don\'t think that\'s too big is it?

i don\'t care about the post count uni..i don\'t know why i can\'t post pics..must be something with the company pc...they must have put some type of restrictions on it..

I know clips\'s trick.He is prtending that he doesnt understand so he can find more excuses to increase his post count :p

^^^yes i\'am i was messing around with the browse button all night...the file would be in that space then when i would do a preview on it...nothing would appear in the text area..hey i appreciate all you guys helpin me out...i\'m just gonna give up on it..my company pc..probably has so much crap on it that we can\'t do anything..
