So what do you guys think your team is going to do in the draft this year?
I was hoping that the Pats would luck out w/ Stephen Jackson slipping to #21 or at least grab Kevin Jackson. Now that its come out that the Pats have acquired Corey Dillon(FOR A SECOND ROUND DRAFT PICK) I think they might go after a true number one reciever and an O/D-Lineman in the first round.
IMO, Grabbing Corey Dillon almost immediately makes the Pats O a threat.
-
For those that don\'t know who is picking where, here is a mock up of the first round by way of NFL.com(circa 4/4/04)
1. SAN DIEGO -- ELI MANNING, QB. I\'m not convinced San Diego will make this selection but I do feel someone who wants Manning will come to this spot to get him. Down the stretch, quarterbacks like Manning win in the draft rooms.
2. OAKLAND -- BEN ROETHLISBERGER, QB. Once Manning leaves the board someone will want big Ben. It might not be the Raiders, but it could be. He is too close to Manning to let slip. I would have considered OT Robert Gallery here.
3. ARIZONA -- LARRY FITZGERALD, WR. Coach Dennis Green knows Fitzgerald, the Cardinals need another weapon for their young quarterback and the quarterbacks might be gone by now. If so, the Cards could move down a spot or two and still get Fitzgerald.
4. NEW YORK GIANTS -- ROBERT GALLERY, LT. This guy easily could be gone by the second spot. If the Giants move up for a QB, this is where Gallery will go. He could be a 12-year starter.
5. WASHINGTON REDSKINS -- TOMMIE HARRIS, DT. The Redskins need help up front on defense. He helps the most. Sean Taylor is a name being placed here but a penetrating DT trumps a safety.
6. DETROIT -- STEVEN JACKSON, RB. This would be a nice spot for TE Kellen Winslow, but the running back situation in Detroit needs to be fixed. Besides, West Coast coaches have found tight ends later in the draft for years.
7. CLEVELAND -- KELLEN WINSLOW, TE. The Browns would have loved to move up for Gallery, but if they stay here and Winslow falls to them he\'s a great pick. Jeff Garcia will feed him the ball.
8. ATLANTA -- MIKE WILLIAMS, WR. Rich McKay knows this kid, and IF he\'s eligible for the draft, he fits Atlanta\'s need: A big target who can give Michael Vick another dangerous weapon opposite Peerless Price. If Williams finds himself outside this draft, then Roy Williams works just as well.
9. JACKSONVILLE -- KENECHI UDEZE, DE. A defensive-minded head coach who needs to replace Tony Brackens right now and Hugh Douglas in a few years likes what this kid can do. Just watch the Rose Bowl tapes. Roy Williams is also a great fit but Jack Del Rio saw what happened in Carolina when they built the defensive line first.
10. HOUSTON -- DUNTA ROBINSON, CB. There could be some long discussions about Sean Taylor if he is still available, but Robinson lets Dom Capers move Marcus Coleman to safety. A trade down is not out of the picture. General manager Charley Casserly is one of the more capable draft-day traders.
11. PITTSBURGH -- DEANGELO HALL, CB. Hall is rated ahead of Robinson on many draft boards but easily could land up going here. The Steelers need him badly. He\'s cocky but all the great corners are.
12. NEW YORK JETS -- SEAN TAYLOR. If Taylor falls to this spot the Jets will have their draft card up in 10 seconds. I know they signed Reggie Tongue after they didn\'t get John Lynch, but they need two safeties and their head coach played the position. If he\'s off the board, then LB D.J. Williams looks like a fit.
13. BUFFALO -- ROY WILLIAMS, WR. The Bills will be ecstatic if Roy is still on the board. He answers the wide receiver issue from last year when Peerless Price left. Drew Bledsoe will be a better player overnight with this player on the field.
14. CHICAGO -- VINCE WILFORK, DT. The Bears will have some excellent options at this point. Will Smith and a receiver like Reggie Williams are options, but passing on Wilfork will be hard to do.
15. TAMPA BAY -- WILL SMITH, DE. Smith has all the attributes Monte Kiffin loves for his defense. Could make a case for Jonathan Vilma but lining Smith up opposite Simeon Rice is a better move. I really would like to see QB Philip Rivers go here and be coached by Jon Gruden.
16. SAN FRANCISCO -- REGGIE WILLIAMS, WR. Dennis Erickson has watched Reggie for his whole college career and might have even had him ranked higher than the other Williams receivers. The Niners need two receivers in this draft; here\'s the first one.
17. CINCINNATI -- CHRIS GAMBLE, CB. This might be a bit early for Gamble but only the Bengals know how much they need a corner. They tried in free agency and they saw two come off the board already so either they will move down, which is not their style, or they will take him. They will get a running back later.
18. NEW ORLEANS -- RANDY STARKS, DT. It\'s hard to find big men who can play fast and be disruptive. A linebacker like Vilma would be a nice fit but getting a young lineman to team with Johnathan Sullivan makes the Saints better, especially with the hard-pounding Panthers in their division.
19. MINNESOTA -- VERNON CAREY, OG. The Vikings would like to take a defensive end here but the best will be gone. Carey can help for a long time and the head coach is a former offensive line coach. The Vikings will get calls to trade down and the money-conscious Vikings will listen.
20. MIAMI -- SHAWN ANDREWS, OT. The Dolphins must fix the offensive line. Even though they have been signing people in free agency, Andrews fits -- especially if Carey is gone.
21. NEW ENGLAND -- CHRIS PERRY, RB. Some would argue for Kevin Jones from Virginia Tech, and they might be right. The Patriots would love a corner here so they could deal with Ty Law on their terms. They will have to move up to do that. Steven Jackson would have been a great fit at running back but they would have to give up too much to do that.
22. DALLAS -- KEVIN JONES, RB. It doesn\'t look like Corey Dillon is headed to Texas, and Jones could still be on the board. If not, the Cowboys could take OLB Karlos Dansby right here and address the 3-4 package they want to install.
23. SEATTLE -- JONATHAN VILMA, LB. The Seahawks need a middle linebacker/weakside linebacker who makes plays like Vilma. If he\'s gone, they would look at his teammate, D.J. Williams.
24. DENVER -- D.J. WILLIAMS, LB. The Broncos could look at DT Marcus Tubbs here or TE Ben Troupe, but speed linebacker in Larry Coyer\'s defense is very important. Replacing Ian Gold has to get done. Williams is a bigger version of Gold and might be higher up the draft board than others have mentioned.
25. GREEN BAY PACKERS -- PHILIP RIVERS, QB. I can\'t believe Rivers is still on the board, and neither can the Packers. Finally, someone to replace Brett Favre down the road. Look for teams in the next few weeks to move up 8-10 spots from here to grab Rivers. If Tim Couch goes to Green Bay, then this changes.
26. ST. LOUIS -- ANTWAN ODOM, DE. The Rams would like a corner here but the top three are gone by now. So, they turn their attention to replacing Grant Wistrom. A bit of a reach in some people\'s eyes but need is need.
27. TENNESSEE -- JUSTIN SMILEY, OG/OT. An NFL line coach told me Smiley was his second-ranked lineman. He also said lots of coaches love the guy. The Titans need defensive line help bad but will address it later.
28. PHILADELPHIA -- KARLOS DANSBY, LB. The Eagles fixed wide receiver and defensive end in free agency. A running back would help but the top ones will be gone. A tall, athletic linebacker to really replace Carlos Emmons would work here even though they signed Dhani Jones from the Giants.
29. INDIANAPOLIS -- DERRICK STRAIT, CB. The Colts would be happy if Strait were still on the board. If not, a linebacker like Dontarrious Thomas might fit. The Chiefs are right behind the Colts and need a corner. Will Poole ran too slow at his Pro Day to present options.
30. KANSAS CITY -- MICHAEL CLAYTON, WR. There are some very good receivers to choose from at this point in the draft. Lee Evans and Rashard Woods are two others who could be under consideration.
31. CAROLINA -- BEN TROUPE, TE. The Panthers need secondary help with the loss of two starters but might not have anyone on the board worthy of a first-round pick. Troupe needs to become a better blocker, but he is a weapon like they don\'t have in Carolina. They get a quality wide receiver with a later pick. CB Ricardo Colclough looks better in the second round.
32. NEW ENGLAND -- CHRIS SNEE, OG. The Patriots could take center Jake Grove here but recent success with Boston College linemen might make Snee the choice.
-
I really hope the Bears go for Wilfork... He\'s a freakin\' monster.
-
i agree with that pick for the broncos. We sure as hell dont need a TE anymore since weve aquired about 4 of them, resigned another, have chamberlain, and sharpe is still up in the air. The broncos do need a LB though. RB could be another even though we have 4 of those, and a WR since theres a bunch of those this year. Lastly would be a DT since they signed a bunch of veterans for the D-line.
-
Overall, a nice list...
But there\'s no way that Sean Taylor goes 12th. None. Outside of that, good list, except for that. He\'ll go 5th to the Redskins or 6th to the Lions.
See Yuz.
-
Niners need a reciever, thats the bottom line. Nobody will fill T.O\'s shoes, but should come relatively close, minus the lockerroom drama.
-
Man I hope Vilma/DJ Williams falls to the Colts. If not then I hope they get Dunta Robinson, Karlos Dansby, or Derrick Strait.
-
I hope the niners go for talent on the board instead of a WR with their first pick, because they could pick up a wr in the second round that is just as good as the late 1st round recievers, the draft depth is very high for WR\'s this year. There are only 2-3 that are heads and shoulders above the rest.
-
I hate Kellen Winslow but I\'d love have him at Cleveland. Also, I don\'t care what teams on top, for godsakes pick Fitzgerald.

I would nut. That would be so ****ing incredible. Giants get their man without trading up, and then Sean Taylor, who should be a top 6 or so pick at least goes to the Jets somehow? I SERIOUSLY doubt the Jets have a shot at Taylor, but that would be amazing.
-
Well Eli is pulling an Elway saying he doesn\'t want to play for the Chargers, and the supreme court ruled against Clarett. So that shakes up the draft a little. I want to see Minnesota miss their pick again and it will be quality.
-
Washington + Gibbs = #1
i hope :iono:
who am i kidding :cursin:

I find it really strange that I\'m saying this, because if I had to bet, I\'d bet he\'ll make me eat my words, but I don\'t want the Giants drafting Eli Manning. I think that despite what happened last year, we have a team that can compete now, and Kerry Collins is a good enough quarterback to lead this team. What we need is offensive line help. Gallery would help us immediately. Manning would sit, and we would still have serious problems up front. I just think we would have to give up too much to get Manning.
Of course, if we do end up with him, I won\'t complain. I\'ll just be very curious to see how we try to fix this pathetic O-Line of ours.
-
Rookie qb\'s can ruin teams.
I\'m all for developing a high first-round QB, but being a Bears fan I also know how a rookie QB who is pushed to start too soon can completely screw a team for yeaars at a time.

Haha... we (49ers) used to have Cade McNown, and then I think we cut him.
-
Last I heard he was on the Dolphins with Wanny.
-
Yeah, we figured he was a waste of roster space. Besides, Bradon Doman > Cade McNown
-
Anybody > Cade McNown.

so who do you guys think will win the Ryan Leaf award in this draft class? And which WR will get the prestiges JJ Stokes medal of ownage?
-
Im gunna say J.P. Losman will get the ryan leaf award. he was pretty annoying on the espn thing he was on.

Manning.

J.P. Losman, god damn that kid is annoying. He reminds me of some highschool kid who just got ball hair and thinks he\'s the cock of the walk because of it.
-
definately JP Losman, everyone else is at least keeping their mouths shut, well except for manning. But Losman is flat out annoying, and looks like the kind of player that would blame a bad performance on a team, ala Ryan Leaf.

Bengals have a new look this year. (http://www.bengals.com/2004MISC/IMG/DESIGNS/index.html)
-
I really don\'t like Eli Manning.
-
Detroit seriously has had the best draft so far. Kevin Jones and.... ROY WILLIAMS! Plus a tight LB from OKLA.... watch out !
-
Chris Perry over Kevin Jones...............right
-
Yeah, I really like what Detroit did.
But I\'m also pleased with my Bears cause I really wanted Tommie Harris but thought he would go before the Bears picked. I was giddy when he was still there at 14 or 15 or whatever it was.
Also, they went DT again in the 2\'nd and drafted a dude nicknamed "tank".
How cool is that.
Go Bears.
-
Hmm, we over paid for a QB that is overrated due to his family and clearly has just a bit too much sand in his vagina. He better not suck.
-
If not sucking is being better than Kerry Collins, then I would guess that Eli will be just that. Eli will be one of the best QBs in the NFL in a short amount of time...give him 3 or 4 years.
-
You just say that cause he\'s Peyton\'s brother, and thus in your mind awesome by the transitive property. I\'m hoping that works in football.
-
I guess I\'m kind of happy with what the Niners did, they needed alot of players and they have just that. They also managed to get Woods who I like. Give us a good draft in 2005 and I think they might have the personel to start building around.
-
Screw that, we\'re going to the playoffs this year.
-
*bitch slaps Vapor for being retarded
-
When they showed the 2003 Niners compared to the 2004 Niners I was shocked.
Also Tony, if you would\'ve watched some Ole Miss games this year you would\'ve seen how good Eli really is. I watched both Peyton and Eli in college and at this stage Eli is better. He has better feet and his arm seems to be stronger, Peyton\'s arm seems to be pretty strong now though.
-
Eli looks a lot better than Peyton did when coming out of college. Plus, if he starts early he\'ll have a lot more weapons than Peyton had his rookie year.
BTW, I\'m surprised the Patriots didn\'t stockpile picks for next years draft but I do like what they picked up.
-
Rashaun Woods is getting number 81.
Some possible foreshadowing here?!?!?!
:sconf:
-
Broncos draft was good IMO. Concerned the LB position first which they needed most and got DJ Williams, then Tatum Bell and darius watts which are solid picks.
I havent heard anything on Jeremy LeSueur (CB). I think they shouldve gotten a D-lineman before him and maybe even Bell since we already have about 4 running backs who can play.
-
Woods would get 82, Di, because it was his number in college :-P
Can I just say right now that the Chiefs seriously have no clue what the hell they\'re doing on draft day? Ever?
We trade down from 30 to 36, to get a Defensive Tackle that was projected to be a late 3rd, early 4th round pick that we could have very easily gotten much later, and with our 2nd pick in the 2nd round, we draft a Tight End. A TIGHT END. Jesus Christ.
We\'re one or two players away from being a true Super Bowl Contender...why the hell are we drafting projects?
See Yuz.

Truth, but I have learned that there is no such thing as a sure thing when you draft a QB. Even one as good as Manning. But I hope you\'re right.

^^
as long as those two players are Dick Lane and Deacon Jones ;)

All I ask for this season out of the NFL is that at least 2 out of these 3 things happen:
1. Chris Perry is named rookie of the year and has a great 1700 rushing year in his first season taking all doubters to school
2. Eli Manning gets his ass layed out by a very power linebacker and knocks that cocky asshole\'s head off. Honestly, I\'m not playing for the Chargers (wannnnnn) I need my number 10 in New York (wannnnn) He better live up to this hype because personally, I see Rivers, Pickett, Rosenlberg, and Losman all better than that over-rated piece of trash!
3. The Lions make the playoffs! (This is our year baby!) Barry Barry Barry!
-
The 11 year old kid that lives next to my parents house has better form than Losman. Losman= 2004 Ryan Leaf easily. Pickett better than Manning, nah.
-
I\'m telling you, Cody Pickett is so underrated.

Not a chance in hell will Perry be rookie of the year. It\'s bad enough a team was stupid enough to pick him over Kevin Jones. Also, talk about being cocky, you mention Manning but Perry runs his mouth yet doesn\'t back it up half as much.
-
Spoken like a true buckeye.
And yes, I agree 100%. Chris Perry is trash.

Yup, poor man\'s Anthony Thomas, and even A-Train is a backup now.

Well, you would know... all that time you spend sucking his d*ck.

Riiight...Im guessing you\'re a Losman fan
-
No, I know nothing about him... I just know Buffalo got him, and I saw a chance to make a joke about you sucking an 11-year-old\'s d*ck. ;)
I hope he can learn to shut his mouth. But if anyone but the Bills got him, everyone would be swingin\' off his nuts. We needed to get a QB, and if we didn\'t pick him this year, we\'d HAVE to pick one next year, when Bledsoe\'s contract is up. Maybe he can spend the year learning how to stay in the pocket until it collapses from his new mentor.

Well, around here anyways. If the niners picked him, vapor would have him pegged for the second coming. Also, if he was black nobody would be saying a thing about his cocky attitude. They would say "he\'s ready to play" or some dumb shit.

Did I say Defense? Didn\'t think so.
Johnnie Morton has to go, he\'s useless. We didn\'t address that problem. We did address the O-Line losing John Tait by trading a 5th rounder for a pro bowler, and signing Chris Bober, so that was good.
The Defense itself is actually alright, Greg Robinson just confused the shit out of them. The D-Line\'s fine -- Holliday, Sims, Browning, Hicks, and of course, R-Kal Truluck. Linebackers - Fujita, Maz (don\'t forget, Maz was gone for the last month of the season and the playoffs...and looked what happened, most underrated player in the AFC), and Shawn Barber. Not bad at all. The secondary is something we needed to address, and we did not. Instead, we resigned worthless trash William Bartee (Worst Awareness in the NFL), and kept what we already had. Warfield and McCleon, who, before he came to KC was a career Nickel Back, are back. Not bad, but it ain\'t great. We really could have used Troy Vincent, then slid McCleon into his Nickel Spot. Would have worked perfectly.
The one thing we did do on defense was address the coordinator position. Gunther Cunningham is the exact opposite of Greg Robinson -- he\'s not going to confuse them, basically :-P
Too bad the Chiefs have the schedule from Hell. Meh.
See Yuz.

Have you even seen this kid before? He is a great QB(arguably the sleeper pick of the year) but he is a cocky sonovabitch and that turns people off.
Can you seriously name 5 players that are as cocky as Losman who aren\'t despised by everyone but the hometown team?
BTW, Way to pull the race card, that ALWAYS helps arguments.

Did you even read my post outside of what I mentioned about your quote?
Went on to talk about how the Chiefs need another WR becuase Johnnie Morton is worthless and explained why. Not to say that the Chiefs defense doesn\'t need a little help (I think Indy just scored again), but a big WR is one of the Chiefs needs...and they didn\'t address it. I don\'t know football? I\'m insulted :-P

This is more of a side note, but I don\'t think there is anybody who knows more football than ROL Jamas. He is an encyclopedia of football knowledge. And I love him.

The Chiefs were like number 2-3 in offense last year. Offense is not a need. They need defense. They will NEVER win a championship if they don\'t upgrade defensively. They can add Marvin Harrison in place of Johnnie Morton and it will not matter if they can\'t stop anyone(which they could not do last year).
If you really think the Chiefs are a couple of offensive tools away from a championship then I stand by my statement that you do not know football.
-
I guess I have to explain this one more time.
How about you check out the first 8 games of the season for Chiefs. Their defense led the league in turnovers and pretty much blew out everyone they faced outside of the Broncos at home (a game they should have lost if not for the X-Factor), but in the 2nd half of the season, it was to be found out that Greg Robinson was throwing more into his defensive schemes, and was confusing the players. The talent is there (we still need a shutdown CB, something we didn\'t address, as I said before), but the scheme was downright confusing. There\'s a reaosn why he got fired form Denver even after winning a Super Bowl, and there\'s a reason that he left after a 13-3 season -- his Defensive Scheme was too confusing.
Gunther Cunningham is the anti-Greg Robinson. As Eric Hicks said when Gunther was signed to lead the defense "Greg tries to get a game of chess going, whereas Gunther wants to start a barfight." A bit of a difference, I\'d say.
Yes, the Chiefs were damn good on offense, but not really when it counted. Johnnie Morton dropped several crucial passes in clutch situations, often abruptly ending drives. That became well documented in the game against the Colts, where he dropped a 3rd down pass looking up the field tryin\' to get more yards after the 1st down, so the Chiefs had to kick a Field Goal. Andersen missed the field goal, and the Chiefs never got within less than a Touchdown for the rest of the game.
Johnnie Morton, again, is worthless, and needs to be replaced. The Chiefs did not address that, and I feel that they needed to upgrade there Offensively. Can you comprehend that?
The Chiefs do need a shutdown corner, which is why I said that the Chiefs were one or two players away from being a championship caliber team. You just went on to randomly assume that I meant Defense, whereas that\'s not what I was only talking about.
Oh, and I love you, too, Di ;-)
See Yuz.
-
Yes Di, I can feel the man love!
Hey James, we\'ll give ya Toomer for Holmes. I hear you have another 1st round quality RB anyway ;)
-
Yeah Larry Johnson is just as good right? lol Chiefs are not too great in the draft it seems.
We\'ll give ya Stokley and James for Priest and Gonzo :)
Gonzo should be expendable since you got another TE right?

I guess I have to explain why you are wrong, again.
Those first 8 games were against some of the worst offenses in the league. When the Chiefs came up against a decent offense in the first half of the season they were saved on the strength of their own offense.
You can\'t brag about "blowing out" San Diego, Pittsburgh, Houston, Baltimore, Denver, Green Bay, Oakland, and Buffalo. Teams, w/ the exception of Denver and Green Bay, who had some of the worst offenses in the league last year.
In fact, the only really good offense the Chiefs played last year was Minnesota and they lost bad.
-
Um, I\'d have to disagree with that. If you look at the offensive ranks in all the league of these teams, they are 14, 22, 21, 31, 7, 4, 25, 30, which isn\'t so awful itself, but if you look more closely, even that is very misleading.
Buffalo was ranked 30th, for example. However, up until that Cheifs game, they had scored 20 ppg. Against Houston they help Carr to the fewest yards he had before getting hurt. Pittsburgh put up two touchdowns more on Baltimore the game before. Really, they weren\'t bad at all, and I would expect better from them. Let\'s not forget, the Rams had a bad D too when they won the Super Bowl. The question isn\'t whether their D will win it for them, it\'s whether it\'s good enough to not lose it for the offense.
And as for their O saving them, since when is Trent Green having under 130 yards passing, and Holmes having under 100 rushing a sign of a game where your offense saved you (against Denver)?

So one other team, besides the two I already mentioned, was not ranked in the bottom half of the league in offense(still very close) and that isn\'t bad?

- Buffalo had 20 ppg because they lit up a zoned out New England and a newly gelling defense in Jacksonville(weeks 1-2). With those two erroneous games aside the Bills are at 13 ppg, which is damn close to where they ended up at the end of the season.
- Carr averaged 151 ypg on the entire season. 167 yards against the Chiefs isn\'t exactly groundbreaking.
- I\'ve got nothing on the Steelers/Ravens game; but I still stand by the fact that the Steelers were not a respected offense in the league last year.
I totally agree about the D needing to be good enough to not lose it for them. Personally, I don\'t think they are. If you look at the schedule the Chiefs really didn\'t play anyone worth mentioning besides the Broncos. We\'ll see what they are made of when they play a schedule that wasn\'t made for an 8-8 squad. The Chiefs/Broncos benefitted from a weak division more than ANY team in the league.

True, I was wrong about that. That game was more a case of Special Teams stepping up.
Still, One thing is certain, they DEFINATELY did not win that game on the strength of their defense.

That\'s a number that\'s very much deflated due to injury. Carr averaged 217 ypg in his 4 games against teams other than the Chiefs (Miami, NO, Jax, Tenn, not awful D\'s) before he got hurt. After that, 7 more games are averaged into his stats, but only 3 of those were games in which Carr played the whole game. One was the game he was injured, and then there were games of 62 yards on 9 attempts, 12 on 4, and 25 on 5 averaged in there when he was playing hurt and just taking snaps at the end of games. That 151 ypg stat is very misleading and definitely an inaccurate representation of what he did.
With Buffalo, even if you discount the game against the Pats, their loses where they were held to low point totals were against teams like Miami and Philly, some of the best D\'s in the NFL. They also went over twenty 3 times in 6 games discounting the Pats game, 4 in 7 if you include it. Either way, the Chiefs D held them to three points, which is the lowest the offense scored all year up until their final game. Still pretty impressive if you ask me, no matter how you look at it.
The fact is, I\'m not arguing that the Chiefs were an amazing defense last year. I know they weren\'t. However, I am saying that there were clear signs that there is some talent to work with their, if it is applied right. You discounted the 31 points Buffalo put up on the Pats in week 1 based on the system they were running. The system was changed, and the Pats played like a great D. Why is that not possible as well for a team like the Chiefs?

No, I discounted it because the Pats were zoned out(as in on another planet) after losing their defensive captain 3-4 days before the game.
Still, I see what you are saying about the Chiefs. They may have the tools; but they have yet to show anything. I just think the last of their problems is an offensive player.

Ha, sorry, misunderstood.
And as for where their needs are, most teams have needs to fill in multiple places. However, a solid WR is a lot harder to acquire through trades or through free agency than a solid DB. Thus, when a player like Woods is still available, and it is clear that an upgrade is needed at WR, at least to me, you have to take him.
