For $999.95 i would expect capcom...

(deep breath) To send round to your house some of the resident evil development crew dressed as zombies so that you can take pot shots at them with a high powered BBgun.

or poke them with a sharp stick for a bit.

Or maybe a mistake done on purpose to see if it does sell.  $1,000 for psx version?  Man, low resolution, and maybe mediocre framerate....
to hear that Kill Bill is making several version of the the Volumes just to make money is crazy, but this...eh.

How is this crazy?  Please, tell me how.  There are two Alien collections, three different James Bond collections (and I mean 2 seperate dvd versions and a tape version), two versions of Fight Club, 3 versions of Pearl Harbor, 2 versions of all the Die Hard movies, 3 versions of EACH LotR movies, and about a half dozen to a dozen different versions of Star Wars and at least three versions of nearly every Star Trek film (now at 6 in all so far of 10).  

How is the Kill Bill news surprising?
