Letterman is going to tape a Friday night show at 4am Friday morning rather than how he usually does it on Thursday evening.

Wow...   Anyone care?  I wonder why?

What gets me vid is that they made this story newsworthy. I mean really who care what time he tapes the shows. I guess they only worthy about it is the fact that they have to fond guest to come in at that time. Would be a good episodes to whore Van Helsing

they only thing i can see effecting Letterman is that its so early in the morning that it impacts on quality.

But there is something to be said about moving the recording to the same day as air-ing could help to keep it even more topical.

Letterman has always been an oddball, having so much money, a poduction company, hosting his own talk show but still a shut in.  Whenever celebereties call him to hang out he always starts coughing really loud saying, "Man, I\'m really fighting off something serious."  Just as an obvious excuse for him to stay home. :)

He\'s setting up remote cameras around the city, so he\'s obviously gonna do something different, maybe even go outside and do some skits like he once used to do.  Sounds good to me.

It should be fun. I\'m sure he\'ll be cracking jokes about how tired he is and how stupid it was to do a show at 4am.
