Title: UK consoles in the US
Post by: thedoc46 on May 08, 2004, 07:45:44 AM
Hi,

I\'m moving over to the US. I\'m from the UK.

Does anyone know if I can play my games in the US. Most probably using a US console.

I know all consoles are territory locked. However is there any chipping that will allow me to play PAL games.

I have a PS2, XBOX, GC and a Dreamcast. My DC is already chipped so I\'ll just put it on a power transformer, the XBOX and PS2 and Gamecube I may aswell sell and buy US versions

I just want to know whether it\'s worth selling the games or doing something to US consoles and bring the games?

cheers

There is but you should only play LEGAL original copies not pirated ones.

Instead of selling your consoles, why don\'t you just buy an adapter to convert from PAL to NTSC?

he wants to be able to play new games he "buys" in us on his old console - actually he wants to be able to play old games on console he buys in us or something - but to be able to play his old games too

there is also problem with resolution too isnt there thou - dont pal games display on resolution that us tvs cant handle

I believe there is more into "I like poop" than "....sigh" :D
What the heck does  "sigh" mean anyways?

On the other hand "I like poop" is a philosophical statement worth debating. Why should someone like "POOP"!Disguss :D
