Six months until the election and I haven\'t seen or heard much about him. :)
-
whelp i \'m a dem but kerry doesn\'t seem much different than the pres on certain issues..i\'ve already made it known that i like bush & his domestic plans for country..i just don\'t agree with the iraq ordeal...since he\'s fighting this war in iraq i feel he needs to finish this thing up & clean it up...
as far as kerry is concerned he\'s bland & boring he takes the opportunity to jump on the bandwagon of issues that arise from iraq or any sutuation at hand with no real substance to them..meh there\'s nobody in the dem party that was worth lookin at this year...
-
Are you serious? All I do is hear or see something about him and where he is speaking.
Im not convinced he is our next commander in chief tho.

Id certainly vote for him if he rumored running mate becomes a truth. McCain.

All you\'ve been hearing from Kerry is the free exposure, like photo ops and speeches. He doesn\'t have the vast diamond mine full of cash that GW has for political advertising. Eventually he will get his message out. What that message will be, I have no idea. :)
What I am really curious about is will GW have the BALLS to participate in not one but several debates during this election? I still think public speaking is his biggest weakness. He should confront his fears and get behind the podium.

Neither does he.

Yeah, he doesnt seem to really have solidified his views yet...
It\'s hard to be a liberal, if you speak your mind, you will not win. :(

Theirs more registered dems than repulicans, don\'t get what you mean by that comment.
-
It\'s more like the dems are afraid of hurting someone\'s feelings....
-
Well It\'s probably the money issue. 600,000 dollars from Enron would help anybody.
I don\'t really see the problem with Kerry\'s "decisions" Abortion...he\'s pro but against. He\'s against it due to religious differences. Is that bad? Apparently yes. B/c it does say in the constitution that this country should be ruled according to the President\'s religion...
All I see Bush doing is attacking the morals and image of his opponents on the superficial level. It\'s difficult for him b/c Kerry doesn\'t have a history, a recent history, that makes him seem as bad. Bush on the other hand has all kinds of recent history. No child left behind, his failure to keep his own people under check, his spending, his "decisions"(or Cheney\'s decisions) and so on.
What I get from Kerry is that it\'s not that he likes to switch sides. But rather adjust to change. If the majority of the people want abortion, isn\'t it the people who should get the voice? But Bush on the other hand has the "Shut up and follow what I do" attitude...
Anywas I\'m at school and it\'s raining...My computer is dead

I mean, a lot of democrats are very very VERY moderate. If Kerry presents himself as being too far left, he will lose. For example: Gay Rights, he has to be very cautious and stay sorta inbetween on this issue. If he said what he SHOULD say (and what I think he probley believes) then he\'ll lose a bunch of votes. The democrats won\'t win this thing by going all-out liberal and stuff, they have to be moderate and show a strong sense of defense, they have to stand by a lot of GWB\'s policys about increased Homeland security.
So... you sorta get the feelin that Kerry wants to come out and say a lot of stuff that he can\'t really say, because if he wins it will still be by a slim %.
I guess this is true for both partys, everyone has to play it safe in politics these days.

Huh? Bush has raised a lot more than $600,000 which if you didn\'t know wouldn\'t even have bought a 30 second commercial during the finale of Friends.
You answered the question about Kerry\'s stance on issues for yourself - Kerry is a walking contradiction.
The Constitution says what!?!?!? :stick: Do you ride the short bus to school?

With you saying that then why even run if you can\'t be balsy enough to speak your mind, if you\'re going to run for president there should be no bullshit. If he wants gays to be married then he should say it, I don\'t want another president to come into office and not say the whole truth then change everything up when he gets in, happens to many times.
At least Bush we know his stand point on most of his thoughts.

couldn\'t agree with you more...i\'ve stated i was very impressed with how bush presented himself in that state of the union speech...he spoke his mind and stayed firm on his beliefs and i respect him alot for that..there is no flim flam when you deal with him..as long as it\'s not issues concerning iraq that is..;)

As the funniest man alive, Chris Rock, says...
Whats the biggest issue in America right now? Gay Marriage! You know, gay marriage is the only issue the President will give you a straight answer on...
"Mr President, what about the war in Iraq?"
Bush: Well, you never know...we\'re still looking for those weapons...we might find them, we might not...but its out there...we\'ll get it someday...
"Mr President, what about the economy?"
Bush: Well, you never know...we\'re still looking at the situation...economic indicators are indicating that the indications are coming to the indicator...but its out there...we\'ll get it someday...
"Mr President, what about gay marriage?"
Bush: F**K THEM F*GGOTS!!!

yo ash..that\'s some funny s**t!
