Post by: Blade on May 11, 2004, 01:10:26 PM: Well I am impressed by the graphics, and know that the gameplay will be good.. but I really hope they didn\'t totally cancel Wind Waker 2. Wind Waker was a great game marred by a rushed release.

Post by: Lord Nicon on May 11, 2004, 02:12:48 PM: Looks alright. I liked the way it was going to look before the cel shaded one even came around. The CS look was actually pretty nice but when it comes to the realistic ones, the older one takes the cake.

Post by: Eiksirf on May 11, 2004, 03:06:03 PM: Yea the graphics give the feeling of an entirely different game. No doubt it will be good. I wonder if the storyline will be a little more mature to suit the images. Not cliche "mature", but something more intellectual.

I didn\'t like the cell shading but I still loved the gameplay and played it til the end. Now all they have to do is go under and sell Zelda to Sony. I love Zelda but I\'m not picking up a CrapCube for it.

Doesn\'t change the fact you\'re a fanboy and used the term "Crapcube". Welcome to the forums. We need a fanboy and E3 always brings them.

It\'s also still using the Wind Waker engine believe it or not, but Link\'s moves in this video and in Wind Waker are identical. Some details emerged as well where dungeons will be played in a top down perspective a\'la, every zelda before the N64, and when combat begins, the camera will seamlessly transition to behind Link like it has since Zelda on N64.

When it comes to more sophisticated graphics, you usually have to follow up with more serious/mature-ish content, due to the synchronizing of the visuals and content.

I mean could you really see this link with a high pitched voice and cheery music? I could, but i know i really wouldnt want to.

that one was seem a lil too childish. It was fun but not great to me.
