Superior image quality. If you have broadband you do not have to worry about the size (which if pretty large).
I always download QT versions of videos from GameSpot.

I like xvid.

Not impressed by those vids at all. Looks like a pretty standard FPS game just that it has very good art direction.
-
Bah.Then its all hype?
-
Looks to be nothing but hype.
Nothing too positive coming out of E3 on this game. Oh well. At least fastson will buy it.
-
What were the impressions in E3 since you mentioned it?

And maka.. I hope. ;)
Btw, let us all ignore the impression from before E3, Edge, PSM2, OPS2M, SP all enjoyed it and were really impressed.
The only negative stuff from E3 about Killzone that I have heard are about the online mode.
The only concern I have (apart from the online mode, which at E3 seemed pretty laggy) is that it will be just like Halo.. in regards of the shooting, press the trigger and never let go.
And that the Helghast will be mindless drones like the Germans in Allied Assault, wave after wave after wave, don’t mind the deadly bullets, just go forward.

Of course... I\'ve had it on pre-order for months at Amazon.co.uk :D the only major beef I have with it is the animations, but I\'ve put 10 questions to Guerrilla to anwser. So my mind will be at peace when they post the replys back in the official forum. :bounce:

Can you post the link with the questions asked?
thank you :)
-

Half-Life 2 does everything Killzone does, only 20 times better if you ask me.
-
The general consensus from people that were there is that its a good game but nothing mind blowing enough to label it a "Halo Killer". Its a good game but when you compare it to its upcoming competition its just "blah".
-
JP: You played both? ;) Sure, some things you just know.. I agree, Killzone can not compete with HL2, six years in development so they cant **** HL2 up!
BS: We will see, IIRC Halo was very disappointing when it was first shown on E3 for the first time on Xbox.
Killzone has a few months left (Q4 2004 release?), also it was never meant to be a Halo killer, it got that label from some fanboys on a PS2 magazine. According to the developer the games are very different (I’m still worried about the mindless spraying of bullets/laser beams though).

I don\'t care what anybody says about the game :p until I actually play the game myself, sat down at home in a comfortable environment, their impressions and snide comments can take a run and jump. Because IMO there are two types who play FPS games, gun hoe tossers :p who spray bullets everywhere (has seen in allmost all of the videos) and people who assess the situation and apply the correct course of action (Me :D) and that\'s where I think Killzone is going to truly shine. The game is my most anticipated game this year, and I can’t see that changing, and just think we can get a sample of sorts by buying Shellshock Nam 67 next month :D which will be a great game too....

Now that is what Im talking about.. I have only seen ONE video where they try to be tactical.. and that made the game look much much much more fun.
Nam is out next month?
I already got two games preordered this month, Norrath and GT4P. *sees money flying away*

Yeah, it was that Gamepro video from Germany which is the best video of Killzone so far, where the player was hiding under the stairs. And Shellshock comes out on the 4th June according to play.com
