It does look like shit, are there any day races in this one and more than one location?

yea I hope they have more than location, but if they don\'t, I\'ll still be picking it up. Looks like they have some extra customizing stuff. :)

I hope the framerate has been boosted too. Although I enjoyed the first one and played it to completion, it did suffer from slowdown from time to time.

I dont think the frame rate will be increased. It will probably just be fixed at 30 or something. Its really not that jaggie, considering it will be 10times harder to notice them while youre playing. It can only be the same or better in the graphics department so i dont think you have much to worry about.

Im hoping that those slopes are downhill drift courses. That would be nice. The level of customization seems to be increased and thats always good. The first game was too short for me. After i beat it, i saw no reason to continue, considering i dont have the network adaptor.

It would be kinda funny if you had shitty ass sound untill you upgraded your stereo. Gives you more of a reason to win/customize etc.

Is it me or is EA overdoing it with the Need for Speed sequels. And what improvements will we see?i dont expect EA will offer any specific "mouth watering" new features or improvements in such small period of time.NFSU1 isnt even one years old.
I wonder why should we care about EAs "countless" need for speed series which is striving to mimick another yet superior arcade racer the Burnout series which is better.
Gimmie Burnout3!60fps, super fast arcade racing with style and superior graphics

I wish EA would go back to the NFS games of old, real cool arcade racers with cops. All they need to do is improve the AI and i think they could be onto a real winner.

Underground is nice but there is only so much you can do. I hope they have cops this time, consideing it is \'illegal\' underground racing.

True. But atleast you know that there is no other simulation racing game that can compete with its perfectiveness. And there must be a reason for that.dont you agree?
If there is one racing game that fits perfectly with the words "car lovers and culture" its GT4.GT4s value is different than other racing games.Ofcourse PD is trying to offer as much as possible. But its reaching to a point you wonder what is out there left they still didnt add?

yea it may turn out to be Battlefield Vietnam. Just some improvements to make it sell. I never liked the original Need For Speed, but underground is my favorite racing game ever. What would be nice is if they combined Midnight Club 2 with NFSU. Have all of the great controls, customizing, etc but huge city to drive around in. Those closed off tracks just felt like an old game.

Really? I disagree.

Try playing GT3 for a few hours and go play GT2. I promise you, it will be a noticable different feel when driving.

I haven\'t tried Prologue or GT4 yet so I don\'t know how it feels to play GT4 but I\'ve read that they\'ve done some changes to the physics system from GT3.

GT4 will have lots of new stuff.

Photo mode
Online mode with a community
Top-downs (with drivers visible, beautifully animated.)

etc.

The progression between Gran Turismo sequels is IMO the equivalent of going from GTA to GTA:VC or Madden 2001-2004 They tweak some things and add some things but when it comes down to it the game is still pretty much the same thing.

The thing is that they are improving on already excellent games so you can\'t fault them. Its an "if it aint broke" situation.

GT4 prologue is massively improved over GT3, the sense of speed is 100 times better and it just feels much faster. Much more realistic, the graphics are not a huge advance though. The full version looks miles better from the more recent screenshots.

Well why make so many different elements in a game? Then you might as well change the title. The difference between GT2 and GT3 is far larger than any madden. IDK. I dont feel like going into detail. Its not that important

just wanted to add my two cents
