It\'s a common theory held by some UFO investigators that these visitors actually reside in an alternate dimenson (for lack of a better word) or in the past or the future. They don\'t travel in physical space, but just cross a dimenson boundary or pop in and out of time. In one sense they are already "on this planet" so they don\'t have to be concerned with FTL space travel. That would explain their ability to do things some witnesses have described; things that would seem to be impossible using our current physics model, such as floating through solid objects, spacecraft starting and stopping, and reversing direction at high rates of speed.

It\'s also possible that what we are seeing are not physical objects at all, but just manifestations of some remote viewing session originating from a distant location. That would explain why they can wink in and out of sight, and be invisible to radar.

I do believe in Aliens, simply because of the numbers of stars in our galaxy alone... I figure there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of other sentient species in the milky way, and of those species, at least a few must have survived long enough and under the right conditions to have expanded technologically to the point that they can travel between stars.

As to what they would be like if/when they ever arrived here? Well, they would have evolved completely differently from us. Who knows how their social structure would be. As such, I can imagine any number of likely scenarios... study, peacefull contact, resource plunder, or just \'letting us alone\'.

Hey, guess what...... the Earth doesn\'t sit in the same static location in space. If they are from the future they would STILL have to to travel to get from where the Earth will be to where the earth is now located.

*Imagines a scene from Back to the future, where the car speeds off and vanishes..... then the car shows up in outer space and Michael J Fox dies from the lack of atmosphere.

If it is true, I can guarentee that they aren\'t coming from another galaxy but from another star system in our galaxy.

The unviserse has been around for such a long time. We have no idea how often life exists anywhere, we just know about our own planet\'s life. There are so many planets. But life on ours has only been around for a relativly short time, So I mean, perhaps life exists elsewhere and perhaps not. Maybe life never exists at the same time as other life....

On the other hand, it is probley true that there is atleast bacteria somewhere else. The only really debateable thing is how did life begin on earth, and how would it begin somewhere else. However life started on earth, it certainly has shown to be able to adapt to any situation. Because of this, if the reasons life began on earth occoured somewhere else, then it probley happens a lot more often then we think.

Then again, perhaps life can begin in MANY situations, in which case, a large number of planets or commets or moons etc could have life.

I doubt the mother of a 10 year old she caught looking at gore pics that bad would agree with finding that educational enough to leave it on a video game forum where there is no age verification whatsoever. If all we have to do to post links to things that violate the rules against gore/porn/death is put banner warnings above and below, and then claim it\'s educational, I think you will see a lot more such things in the future.

One thing that has always irritated me is the human way of making everything human. They have cartoons of animals talking. they dream up aliens with eyes and hands and feet, even though the chance of life outside of earth looking like a human is basically a big fat 0.

So please, I don\'t expect to see \'life\' fly to earth in a spaceship, like a human would. the creature may be in a diffeeren demension, the 4th o 5th. It could be invisible to our eyes. And the light thing is so old.

Another thing that rattles my brain is people continue to talk that the chances are So so good for their to be life in the universe.

Just because there is alot of stars doesn\'t mean the chance of life being out there is any greater. it all depends on ALOT of variables, and scientists often argue over these variables. Some argue that that wth their stats its possible for thousands of civilizations, others say it\'s a miracle that there is just one, ours.

There are countless numbers of galaxies, correct? There are millions and billions of stars with planets circling them. It is highly likely there is life, not necessarily intelligent life (if there is, they might be at our level or maybe in a different age, like they can be in our middle ages or our "future". What I mean is on the technological level compared to ours).

You want to complain? You, one who has abused the system to the highest degree. Right and every Mod / Admin views things differently. I try to think of myself as one of the more liberal one\'s and yet people still want to whine and complain. Just like if I deleted every link / video deemed "offensive", they would complain I was to uptight.

But that seems fishy to me, as ball lightning encounters have generally been extremely rare in the past, and close to the ground. Plus, as I\'ve understood the phenomena of ball lightning in the past, it is not invisible to the naked eye.. the fact that it showed up on infra-red (had heat) should mean its at least a bit visible, no? Hmmm... time to do some ball lightning reading...

Yeah.. ball lightning, according to this research, is, in general:

1) small, visible, and multi-colored.
2) low to the ground, generally under 10 feet.
3) can bounce, have interior structure...
4) not so rare

Which leads me to three theories, and these three theories get to cover all the bases, so really, I\'m just saying I dunno:

1) It was ball lightning, and so little is understood about it that it has different properties during formation at altitude.
2) It was alien spacecraft.
3) It was something else... (maybe ball lightning, being so wierd, is actually tiny aliens in extra-dimensional craft!)

Another thing that rattles my brain is people continue to talk that the chances are So so good for their to be life in the universe.

Just because there is alot of stars doesn\'t mean the chance of life being out there is any greater. it all depends on ALOT of variables, and scientists often argue over these variables. Some argue that that wth their stats its possible for thousands of civilizations, others say it\'s a miracle that there is just one, ours.

Maybe our genetics were placed here by aliens so we could be used as a body part farm for when important aliens get a terminal illness,which would explain the body mutilations?

(just trying to say they could look like us,I\'m not saying this is what happened.)

i hate you fatal!...:mad: :p yeah i read the link but i don\'t think that was ball lightning at all..i think you would still be able to see the lightning bolts which connect them...

Nope... ball lightning is nothing like normal lightning. It acts in ways that seem to defy physics and until recently, it was one of those things that a lot of people denounced as hallucination/optical-illusions. It\'s still a fairly contentious issue....
