Title: How long should we expect?

How long after the Geforce 6 and new Radeon mass produce do you think we\'ll have to wait for the prices of other cards to go down?  Im really sick of my Geforce4 MX420 and looking forward to a new card.  Any ideas?

I was just wondering the same thing.


Thief 3, Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 are gonna demand an upgrade.

Yea I just watched the E3 2004 vid for Hl2, I\'m gonna need an upgrade for sure. Oh btw PSX, don\'t buy an MX ever agian. The GF4MX is like the GF2 Ultra. It\'s a waste.

I just bought a used 9800np that runs at XT speeds & has a big Zalman heatpipe pre-installed for $200 shipped.

Still a lotta change but I can\'t wait any longer.  I hope once the 6800u gets released prices will drizz-op.

Need to wait alittle while longer so that the new cards can really get out there, however, if you already have a last generation ATI card, I do believe ATI is doing a trade in deal - you could trade in your 9800 for the new generations and what not...To my knowledge, Nvidia is not offering any deal like this.

Well it came shipped in my Media Center PC...I knew it was crap the first time I played a  game using it.  For that I am anxious to purchase a card of my own.
