Wow. One guy had a good point.
I think the worst part is you just know this dude doesn\'t have a clue how to reinstall the brakes correctly. Oye...
-
Painting his brake disks and pads ..... errrrrr is he still alive ?
-
I can just see him testing them into a brick wall. :D
-
what an ass
-
It\'s not really a bad idea to paint the rotors unless after one reinstalls, they proceed to fly down the street at 100mph and try to stop like a mag tester.
Paint burns off in a matter of a few stops if braking normally.
No worse than driving in the rain or snow.
-
but atleast in the rain and snow you are expecting it to take longer to brake
-
hopefully this guy will understand that too.

It\'s true, the paint will come off the rotors...but when one paints BOTH rotors AND pads....HA!
-
The pads I would *assume* would be similar to the rotors, but I have no idea really. The chemical compund of the pads could possibly break down depending on what paint is put on them.
Once again, a guess.
-
Still a risk.
-
better yet, he thought they were the calipers. he\'s a moron. I like how one guy implied his parents will be mad once they see the white spots in their lawn
-
Now thats what I found funny.

I\'d like to paint the brake calipers on my car yellow. With the green that is on it, yellow calipers would look really cool. I\'d paint the rotors too if it didn\'t look stupid, dangerous and undoable.
-
Uhm..Im guessing this is sarcasim speaking...soooo with that.....
Green rotors would look no more rediculous than green calipers.
It is not anymore dangerous than driving in rain or snow for 10 minutes or so, give or take.
It is very doable.

you can technically paint both if you wanted but pay attention to the pic below these are the only parts you can paint. You people take everything so literal notice the "rotors" are painted but as we can see he will have no stopping problems.

Yeah, someone posted this on Audizine - said its becoming a common occurence over there on Vortex... There are just some dumb ass people in this world.
I painted my calipers as well, was a real easy fun to do mod. Nice to have them painted instead of rust showing if you got big rims. I\'m not about flash though, black and dark is how I take my car.

I\'ve since upgraded the rotor, pads, and lines.
